No frills local cafe with surprisingly large menu and drinks selection including smoothies. The pastries are homemade and delicious. A few outside tables and decent inside seating options. Very Brooklyn. Pleasant and friendly service. Very kids friendly. Not very laptop friendly.
The French Toast at Muse is divine. Definitely, treat yourself to this perfection. I love that it's not smothered in powdered sugar and it's served with an ample side of fresh fruit. I've also tried the turkey panini at Muse and it was fantastic. The Americano is perfect and has just the right quantity of espresso. There's a wonderful, tasty selection of croissants and sweet breads. The service is very friendly and attentive. Muse is a great cafe to sit a while...

I came in just before 8am on a weekday, most cafés around here don’t even open until 10 and not only were they open, but they were fully staffed, welcoming, and ready to go. Super rare.
