This was honestly such a good choice.I got raw clams & oysters- phenomenal. And I got the mussels in bisque- so damn good.I just wish there wasn’t SO much offered on the menu because it was a tad overwhelming at first. That place definitely needs more business & I hope it gets it.

I always enjoy my dinners at Mussels and More. This weekend I had the shrimp cocktail and some broccoli rabe. I was pleasantly surprised when they lit a beautiful sparkler on my slice of birthday cake! The atmosphere is peaceful and you can have an actual conversation with your friends.

The fish tasted like ammonia. Got sick from it, and the plates were dirty. Food is also very overpriced, and the pizza is badly made.Response: no, I got sick from your fish. Stop blaming everybody else for your bad quality food. I’m filing a report as we speak.

I place an order through Grub hub I didn't see what I normally order so I place an order and I called to modify order. I spoke to a person on line and told him to change order I said I want the mix Seafood Fra diavolo not the shrimp extra spicy and pasta well done I get a response ok sure. When the order arrived cold the driver smoke so much that the bag only smelled like pure cigarettes open up order wrong oder . I call the restaurant first spoke to a guy told him my situation and he said Give me a min ill call you back when the get here. 10 min later I still wait for a call back . I had to call back. Owner extremely arrogant and rude. Told me there nothing he can do that order should of be change in grubhub and I said I called the restaurant and spoke to your worker. He said really wanted to blame me when I called the restaurant to modify order are you kidding me? Worst service . I throw away the garbage and will never go back. I would understand if the owner would of said am sorry for any inconvenience but we do not have a delivery person. Give me your name and address and next Give you credit. If I didn't call restaurant to modify then I could understand but when I called and got ok that should of been enough. Then she said it would be more money I said $1.00 different you could of charge the card . Never again and I don't recommend this place . Customer service is very important .

Local seafood restaurant featuring a good selection of mussels. The Fra Diavolo was delicious with its spicy kick. Pizza was pretty decent too.

First time in Mussels and More and it was absolutely fantastic! The service in this restaurant is exceptional; the staff are so friendly and attentive. The food was beautiful. I had bolognese and my partner had pizza and he considered the pizza to be the best he has ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent dining experience.

TLDR: Friendly and observant staff, delicious food, cozy environment. We went as a party of three around 6:30pm on a Friday. The restaurant is composed of two sections linked by a tiny corridor. The front section is bar seating with a few tables, while table seating is usually prioritized in the rear section as there are more seats. The kitchen is open-faced and visible in the rear section as well. The restaurant is a warm and dimly lit vibe. We were seated promptly in the rear section; the restaurant was pretty empty. As the course of our meal progressed, more and more customers arrived until the entire rear and much of the front section was filled by the time we left around 7-7:15.We ordered the Soup of the Day (Lobster Bisque), Linguine Seafood With White Wine Sauce, Lobster Ravioli, and Fra Diavolo Mussels with pasta (linguine) on the side. You also have the option to choose french fries, but we figured more pasta never hurt anybody. The soup came out promptly, and the rest of our food followed shortly. The lobster bisque was hot, rich, and creamy. There were large lobster chunks in it. It was very satisfying to sip on and warmed us up on the cold autumn day. The seafood linguine was also rich and creamy, but it had the added slight sourness of the white wine, which made for a complex but irresistible flavor. The seafood was fresh and plentiful: calamari squid, shrimp, mussels. The lobster ravioli came in large pieces and smothered by a creamy tomato sauce. This was very delicious, with the cheese and minced lobster filling on the inside and chunks of lobster on the outside. Finally, the mussels came in a light but spicy tomato sauce (which was really soup more than a sauce). The sauce had great flavor and had a perfect kick to it. The mussels were fresh and there was plenty to go around. The pasta on the side was unremarkable, but when mixed with the sauce from any other plate, could serve well as a mini pasta dish or a kids meal. The staff were friendly and extremely attentive. When they noticed we were out of water, they brought us more without needing a reminder. This also applied for the hot water that we requested, which is usually easily overlooked. Much props to them.Overall I'd recommend this spot in a heartbeat. I've visited a couple times before and each time the food was delicious. This is definitely a neighborhood classic. The food, service, and ambience were on point. The prices were also perfectly reasonable. 10/10 experience, would return.Parking: Commercial avenue/residential street parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids pasta option.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible front of restaurant.

Mussels and more restaurant is so good. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it is well worth it. I love the food here. They have a wide variety of Mussels on the menu , and in my opinion, are all very good. I usually get the lobster bisque Mussels. The portions are hefty. They also have good pizza. I have tried n the past the seafood and shrimp pizza. Both are very fresh and tasty. The margarita pizza is no exception. They have live bands playing here out on the sidewalk in the warmer weather seasons. The outdoor seating is a plus. The staff is welcoming and very kind. Sometimes, the owner himself serves us the food. I would recommend stopping by if you want a good time and good food in a nice neighborhood.
