Th solace itself has a bad smell once you enter. The dessert tastes good if it is fresh but unfortunately they don’t make it fresh and many times it’s too dry

The desert didn’t taste good and it was dry and not even fresh , the people working there is polite but it’s like they don’t know what they doing . Like the price was okay for the amount they give but when you taste the dessert it’s just dry and sour .

My partner and I were so excited to try this place. However, it fell a bit flat. The service and food was okay. We went at an empty time. The treats probably would be amazing fresh - maybe a Friday evening?

I was really disappointed with Nablus Baklava. The baklava was not fresh at all, and the quality didn’t justify the high price. Wouldn’t recommend.

As a man from the Middle East who is well-versed in traditional Middle Eastern desserts, these don’t deserve more than two stars. My order included Kunafa with cream, Balah Al Sham, Basbousa, and Goulash. The taste and quality of each of these desserts is no more than a two-star rating.

I come all the way from Washington DC just to eat the knafeh from Nablus Sweets! It’s genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. They also have the cutest cat that sits on the chair sometimes and is so warm and friendly. The customer service is amazing as well.

a cure for homesickness if i have ever seen one. i had never been here before but felt nostalgic as soon as i walked in. i could smell the freshness of the sweet breads and rose and simple sugar syrup as soon as i walked in. the television was playing the news channels that my father and uncles listen to, and i forgot i was in new york. the young man behind the counter showed me pastries i had not noticed behind the counter, and detailed every kind of baklava they had (and it was an expansive assortment). the 3awameh (fried dough balls) were so delicious i contemplated buying them to freeze and take to california to my father. but i decided ill have to bring him in the future. the 7alawet el jibn (sweet cheese) was our absolute favorite. my friend ended up buying a whole other box to take home just after eating one piece. and everything is sold by weight equally which is so generous to price at these days. for reference, i've been to similar shops who charge $3 a piece for 7alawet el jibn and our whole box pictured below was $8. i can't wait to come back and make room in my suitcase.

I ordered from Too Go to Go, and it wasn't bad. I got a variety of treats from my surprise blind bag, and to be frank they are too sweet for an Asian palate, yet I've grown to like the taste of traditional treats of the Middle East. The coconut treats are tasty. Oven timing could go for slow and lower to allow better caramelization.
