Portions are small for the price. Really easy to rack up a fat bill trying to procure enough food to eat and have a decent meal. It was slow night in terms of traffic but the kitchen produced output like it was a full house. It took forever to get our entrees.
If you are pressed for time, this is no place for you to dine. We were the first to arrive for brunch on a Sunday. Upon arrival we were assured that the hour we had before getting to the airport would not present a challenge. They did not have half of the items in the menu. The Nigerian and Jamaican entrees for which they are themed were not available. Our server told us they only had two chefs for the day. After waiting for over an hour and seeing many other tables being served, we asked what the hold up was. A member of the culinary team and server were both of no assistance. As we walked out the door, the greeter was too in disbelief that we had gotten no food. My suggestion is that 1) you not dine here until they have had at least six months of operating time and 2) they need to simplify the BUSINESS model. They are trying to do more than they can be successful at. Let’s see how long this lasts.
Welcome Home! This was the initial greeting and then you're off to a wonderful meal. Our waiter, Nicholas, explained EVERYTHING and offered excellent choices. It was a party of six (6) and everything we ate, we couldn't get enough of. There were a few items we wanted to try; however, they weren't available...gave us even more reasons to come back HOME!!!
The food is very tasty but a little expensive. The lighting was a little too dark to see the presentation of the food. And the bathroom needs to be more managed more often.
Celebrated my sisters bday yesterday and the vibe was on point from the moment I walked in the door. Food was amazing, music was everything. Dj did an amazing job with the music getting the guest hype to hit the floor and sing our hearts out. Definitely can't wait to go back.
This was my third time going to Native. Drinks here are always good. The hookah was really good too. This time around they were really busy so service wasn't so great. We had to ask for utensils and drinks too a while to come out. Overall, my party and I had a good time and I would go back.
little turned off because we made reservations and they were having a staff meeting. The food was great, ambiance is so chill, grown with a sexy vibe.
Please keep and mind this was on valentine day.The worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant, we reached there around 11pm and got a table, their was a prix fixe menu soo we ordered everything at once. we got our appetizers and drinks at a fairly decent time after ordering, my chicken was room temperature so they had to take it back to reheat it and then after that things got really bad, we waited over a hr in a half didn't receive our entrees at all also waited on our 2nd round of drinks for over a hr and when my wife received her drink it was watered down like it was sitting there, we literally had to order a shot to add to the drink mind you we are still waiting on our entrees, so now a hr and a half has passed at least, we've already have spoken to someone who represents them on social media,3 waiters, a supervisor and literally the manager her name was Ray, all these ppl have came to us and told us they are going to make sure they check on our meal, so as we still just wait final Ray comes to us tell us she see our meals ready and should be to us soon, soo we are still just waiting the ppl two tables away from us finally get their food soo im thinking they are about to start just bringing everyones food because everyone has just been sitting for hr+ for food, soo we still just waiting for the food the manager walks over to us and tells us the the server has given our entrees to the wrong table and we will have to wait for god knows how much longer, obviously my wife was very frustrated at this point she voice that she was willing to wait any longer and she just would like her dessert the manager (Ray) said ok she understands, but instead of her saying we will take care of the bill on the house, she says we will take the entrees of the bill and also the shot we ordered to fix the mess up drink the served my wife soo now im very frustrated as well after being told this i told my wife we are leaving, soo we got up and walked out. Completely ruined our vday.
Where do i even begin... we got there at 10:30. We did not eat anything until 3 hours later... they finally brought out appetizers. Had to wait another hour for them to come tell us that they ran out of what we ordered. I'm not sure at what point they realized they didn't have what we ordered but I'm sure it wasn't 4 hours after seating us. When we left we took modified version of our order home. Would've left sooner but the drinks were strong.
Great! Was greeted at the door, walked to our table and our server Jai C took care of us right away! She noticed my wife was pregnant and went above and beyond. Thank you! The food was incredible! The Nigerian Goat soup really hit the spot!

food was ok. I forgot my purse there and went back but it was gone and all of a sudden the bartender Lee was gone . the manager Ray didn't help and gave a b.s story about not having the code to check the security camera
Native was definitely an experience. I didn't expect it to be so much fun. Service was great. I really loved that the manager came around to make sure everything was good and even joined in on the dancing. I definitely made a great choice in coming here for my birthday and would definitely go back.
It was a such a beautiful experience to be at NATIVE last night. We were greeted at the door by the manager Rae. She is not only a manager by title but she was part of every aspect of the dining. Initially we were seated at a table and when I asked about possibly moving to an open both, Rae did not hesitate and she was so sweet the whole night checking in on us during the dinner. Additionally all the waitresses and waiters were all very attentive, even coming to check on us multiple times. The food was incredible. My friend got the oxtail pasta and I did the red curry which were both really amazing. Additionally our drinks were even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for either a dinner or even a celebration of an event. Looking forward to coming back here again very soon.
The service was outstanding, and the drinks were delicious. I did encounter an issue with the wings being too dry, but Raye* from the staff quickly stepped in to help. She ensured I received fresh, juicy wings, and I truly appreciated the care taken to correct the mistake, making sure I was satisfied as a customer. The Efo and Pounded Yam were perfect and really hit the spot. My only other concern was that the restaurant was extremely cold. Although they mentioned the heat was on, it didn't feel like it, especially with the outside temperatures ranging between 16-20 degrees. A warmer atmosphere would have been ideal. However, the drinks and music were the highlight of my night. I would definitely return for a second experience, hoping for an even better visit. I'd rate the overall experience a 7/10 and would recommend it, particularly because the staff was attentive and pleasant. Having someone with a cheerful personality like Raye's* is essential in the restaurant industry, and it truly made a difference.
Love everything about the experience there but the music is night club loud. In a restaurant setting you want to engage with the person that you came with. Is this almost impossible to do that there.
