The Salmon was extremely salty and tasted like sardines. The Hibiscus drink taste like pure juice with a lot of ginger and no liquor added. The drinks are weak and not worth $18. We received another table's bill. The place was so loud. Not a great experience at all.
The food was delicious. The restaurant is very dark, so it's a bit hard to read the menu or see what exactly you are eating. Also, if you are looking for a place where you can have a conversation with background music, this is not the place. The music is very loud and makes it hard to have conversations. The wait staff took a bit longer to acknowledge we were sitting already, but the guy was very nice and friendly. Again, the food was delicious. I will certainly order out, but I don't know if I will go back to dining in.
I'm confused about the basis for such harsh criticism. Their kitchen produces satisfying meals. Their experience covers all possible needs. Quiet find delivering exceptional service. This place creates dishes worth returning for.

Imani (host), Cass (bartender) and Ola (server). They were super nice and attentive. Great service and food was AMAZING. Come here asap. You’ll love the vibe and music.

I've given this place at least four chances, and unfortunately, the service has been consistently slow each time. Most recently, we went to celebrate a birthday, and we had to ask three times just to get our drinks. It took at least five requests and over an hour for our appetizer to arrive.
We ordered 24 suya wings, and since we’ve been here multiple times, I know they typically come dusted with Suya powder. However, all 24 wings arrived completely plain. We had to ask for the seasoning to be brought separately so we could add it ourselves.
For the entrée, we ordered the oxtail pasta. The pasta was lukewarm, and the oxtails were cold. I asked the server if it could be reheated—just a quick microwave would’ve done—but instead, he said he would just box it up to go. When he brought it back, I assumed it had been warmed, but when I took a bite, it was still cold.
After four visits with the same disappointing experience, I think it’s fair to say this isn’t just a one-off issue. What’s frustrating is that they automatically include an 18% gratuity, regardless of the service. Meanwhile, other upscale restaurants with better food and service allow tipping based on the quality of the experience.
It's disappointing because the wings are actually really good. But after too many letdowns, my friend and I have decided we won’t be returning.

The food is extremely overpriced. What is being delivered will not be what you paid for. The automatic tip for extremely mediocre service is a slap and punch to the face, gut and wallet. This location will not be graced with another dollar from me.

The service is awful and it’s extremely hot.
The waitstaff acts as if guests should be grateful to be there. We waited 30 mins despite having a reservation and once seated the waitstaff had to be begged to service our table.
I would never come back even if you paid me.
Shout out to Imani, she's extremely a nice young woman and professional, because of her before I dine I wanted to give the place a 5 star.

As a customer, I can always count on the flavor from the pepper sauce that’s used to season the jollof, and the jollof spaghetti and I’m not disappointed.
The native punch is really good, but so are the zobo kiss and hibiscus margarita. Lee and Cass make the best drinks and I enjoy having this staple in my neighborhood to enjoy on my days off :)

Food was amazing and the staff was professional and friendly! It's a good experience overall
I hear a lot of people complain about the prices, but I haven't seen the google reviews about it. For example $22 for 3 sliders and hot sauce that was $4. This is insane
Don't bother emailing the management, because people have been doing it for over a year and nothing changes.
I went there more then once just to give them a chance and the samething keeps happening. those sliders took over 35 minutes. There was literally only four people there. Service is too slow. Jollof rice with sauce is $40.
There's this Jamaican bartender who is rude as hell. She threw someone's drink away who stepped out for a minute, and she did not reimbursed him. She made a wrong guess and made the customer pay for it
