The care shown by servers here exceeds all my past experiences. The server made us feel like very special guests. The serving sizes alone make this place worth visiting. The crew works effectively. The staff here creates a positive environment.

So I came to order a smoother and a burger and had to Wait 10 mins before I can even order. There’s only one cashier and the cashier is making the smoothies o each time someone order he has to leave cashier to go make a smoothie. The service I so bad that an uber eats driver had to walk out on them and cancel the order because they are taking too long. This location is not ready as yet, be prepared to wait a very long time to order and to get your food and the location suck when coming to parking so imagine if you can’t find parking or had to park illegally thinking you’re be out in 5 mins. Malcolm X and Washington Ave is much better location friendly staff and for taste better.

I’ve ordered the ackee and saltfish many times from this location and usually don’t have issues. However, its been some tome since my last order and I have to say that I’m very disappointed by the quality of food sent to me. I ordered from Doordash today at 11:45am the ackee and saltfish and asked that real saltfish be ised in case they use a substitute. I received the order and there was no ackee. If they ran out then I shoul’dve received a call. On top pf that the fried bananas and the breadfruit was stale. Not very edible. I called at least 10 times to figure out why my order wasnt sent right but there wasnt one answer. Most likely will never order this item from here again. Luckily I complained about all this to Doordash and they gave me a full refund. Still, now I want to order something else because they food doesnt taste good.

I order a small ital stew with quinoa. The quinoa was stale, giving the impression that it was nearing spoilage.

This place totally removed the prices from their menu.
That's so weird, and annoying.
Makes me never want to go there again.
Also the acai bowl was mostly ice. Total BS.

The location on Flatbush and Church staff are extremely rude and unprofessional the two young ladies on Tuesday 07/01/2025 working the store were dismissive and seemed annoyed. Didn’t want to answer simple questions regarding the juice or snack I inquired about. Made my juice with one glove her and touched the apples with the ungloved hand. Wanted to cater to I guess was a regular and attempted to rush me along. When I asked for a bag the young lady sucked her teeth. Will not be visiting this location again. Been a long time customer on the location on Malcom X yet this location staff is in much need of proper training in kindness.

Delicious homemade food. Nice stuff and cool music 💖
I have enjoyed the food at this establishment for the past few years, but the service continues to deteriorate. I might simply be a condition of getting too big or the inability to hire staff during the busiest times. My options are clear, make my breakfast at home, or find an establishment that is committed to the time of its customers.
A hidden vegan gem in Brooklyn!
This place specializes in vegan Jamaican food and it was great.
I got the vegan curry chicken with a tropical smoothie. The curry sauce was incredible. It was well spiced but not spicy. I loved the potatoes and veggies that were in the dish. I got the plate below in the picture for $12 which I thought was a good value.
The staff was super friendly. They let us try free samples of their food before we ordered and was helpful to answer questions for my vegan needs.
The service was extremely quick. We ordered our food and it was ready within 5-10 minutes.
If you’re a vegan needing food in Brooklyn, I’d definitely recommend this spot.
If you're on a healthy lifestyle of living, this is the place for you
AWESOME spot for vegetarian/mostly vegan Jamaican food. (They do have a few menu items with fish that are clearly labeled.) Their slogan is "there is no guilt in our pleasure," and I believe this is accurate! They serve a variety of food, from comforting dishes (like lasagna and mac and cheese) to straight up health food (like acai bowls and ginger shots), and everything seems high quality and free of excess oil and salt. They have a great lineup of baked goods. I tried the banana bread and the pumpkin bread and loved both, especially the oats and walnuts they were topped with. I had to try the 7 grain porridge (they have a rotating porridge each day) and really enjoyed it; it was warm and spiced and just the right level of sweetness. One of my other favorite items was the 13 bean soup, with hearty potato and carrot chunks. I also enjoyed the veggie lasagna and the steamed callaloo. They were also super welcoming and helpful in answering my questions about the menu. I would definitely return here for a meal next time I'm in the area, and I hope to try their other locations.
