Full disclaimer before you read I don’t really like spicy food. Honestly I would have given it a 5. However, it was just a bit too spicy for me. I’m not a spicy girl but I can do a little spice. I just couldn’t fully enjoy because I felt like I had to blow my nose after every 2 bites. Definitely flavorful and if you like spice you would love it. Again the food is good it’s just I can’t do spicy. I got the bowl. I forgot what it’s called but it’s a sampler bowl and it was about $60. Another reason I didn’t give it a full 5 is because we had reservations and still had to wait 45 minutes before we were seated. We ordered some drinks at the bar while we waited. Drinks weren’t strong but at a restaurant like this they never are.

The restaurant has a laid back chill vibe and spacious layout. I did not feel on top of anyone while dining. However leaving from the restaurant a bunch of folks gathered at the bar which is at the entrance, so it was cramped and annoying to make our way out the door.

The food for the price was underwhelming. Music was nice and the volume was great for conversation, service was great. I definitely will be back for the pineapple waffle dessert it was delicious!!!

No complaints about the food it was good , party of four Sunday evening.
The service was absolutely horrible, we saw our waitress once, taking our food and beverage order, someone else brought our food to the table, she never came back to the table and asked if everything was ok or if anyone wanted more drinks which I would have loved to! Our plates were just sitting there afterwards and I had to get up and find the waitress to ask for the check. But no wonder the check included a 20% gratuity already! Why even try to be nice right! Won’t be back.

I ordered food for pickup, I ordered the macaroni and cheese and it tasted old and microwaved. The wings were super oily and had a bad aftertaste (did not taste freshly made). None of the drinks I ordered which were multiple could I distinguish because they didn’t write which one was mango or regular or other ones I ordered.

I’m not sure what happened, but it fell OFF. Got here at 8:30 and it’s been over an hour wait for my food after my appetizer. (Which was very bland) claim to be a Caribbean place with a white DJ and Hispanic cooks ? I smell fraud. They lucky they include gratuity or they wouldn’t even get a tip from me. Never coming back

I came to this place for my birthday and I wasn’t pleased, to start it was my birthday I had a small table that couldn’t barely fit the utensils and plates on the table, had to keep asking the waiter. Where was my food because the food took more than 30 minutes I was told I was gonna have a birthday slice of cake that was never given to me. This place was horrible I will never return back

I recently returned to Negril after dining there few years ago and I was disappointed by my experience. I had high hopes for authentic Jamaican cuisine, but my jerk rotisserie chicken was lacking in flavor, tasting more like standard BBQ with jerk sauce than the bold spices I expected. My sister had oxtail which was lacking in spices. Kinda boring to be frank, which added to my disappointment. Overall, I’d rate the meal a 4.5 out of 10. I remember the food being much better during my previous visit, and I really missed that authentic touch this time around.

The food felt like it was trying to accommodate certain taste buds hence the lack of spice. Food was overpriced for it to be 4.5/10 especially with a 20% gratuity automatically added to the bill, which felt excessive. The only positives were the great drinks and music. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

I have had many dishes from Negril and I have to say that they are always consistent. Consistently amazing! I have had patties and my fave go-to which is curry goat, rice and peas, and plantin. But we ordered Saltfish and Ackee Egg Roll. This deliciousness was what I was missing! A heaping serving of saltfish and ackee spiced well inside with a deep fried crispy outer shell. Nothing short of a mouth-watering appetizer. I'm drooling just thing about it ;)

food is alright but it's overpriced. You can find cheaper and better food in Flatbush.

I went here today for my anniversary with my husband and we had to wait an hr to get a seat cuz they had a full house. Then when we got a seat we got seated all the way in the back. They were out of salmon so we ordered the curry goat which was wayyyy too salty and bad. Then the Mac n cheese was awful and the drinks were average. When we asked for the bill we saw that there was 20% gratuity tip. To me that’s a loot. I’m never coming here again and the DJ was playing songs that were mid as well.

This Caribbean gem is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic flavors. The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with the warm hospitality of the staff, creates an unforgettable dining experience. The Roundabout platter offers a delicious medley of rice and peas, pumpkin rice, brown stew chicken, curry goat, and oxtail, while the creamy Mac and Cheese is a must-try. Every dish is bursting with flavor, making it a true culinary delight. With attentive service and a welcoming ambiance, this restaurant is sure to impress. I definitely recommend Negril, you won't be disappointed!

Parking: Even with a little difficult to find parking at the time we went is wasn't a long walk from the parking spot, maybe a half a block

The food was good, great vibes and drinks with great customer service. Price was reasonable (250 for 2 roundabouts, a side of mac a cocktail, fruit punch and two apps and $40 ish tip) but the food didn't taste as good the next day so definitely get what you think you can stomach in one sitting. I would go back tho and definitely recommend trying at least once.
