Karen went above and beyond, letting me try all three of their drinks, and WOW—that horchata hit every flavor palette perfectly. I ended up buying a small, and she even threw one in for my friend on the house! Then she let me try her favorite dish—the Al Pastor—and let me tell you, that meat was seasoned to perfection! The little grilled pineapples? Chef’s kiss!
Now, let’s talk about the Birria Pizza. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING—this was EVERYTHING and beyond! The beef was incredibly well-seasoned, the guacamole knocked it out of the park, and the combination of flavors with the cheese and pico de gallo was just insane! And the best part? The slice held together beautifully, packed with flavor in every single bite. Trust me, one slice is enough to get you semi-stuffed—eat two, and you might as well clock out for the day!
While waiting, I also had a chicken taco, and again, the flavors were on point! Everything blended together perfectly, making every bite a delight.
If you’re craving authentic Mexican tacos and a next-level Birria Pizza, this is the spot! I’ll definitely be back!

I ordered tacos for pick up half an hour prior. Went there and they didn’t start making it yet. Waited 45+ minutes and they were serving orders for everyone that came in after me. I asked them where is my order and they did not have an answer but say they will make now. I wanted to cancel and they said I had to call. I felt very humiliated almost wanted to cry. The place highly recommended by a good friend but the food was really something that you can easily make on your own. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely champiñones (mushroom) tacos which I asked for no cheese in an attempt to make them vegan. Very tasty! Would get them again!

A friend of mine last night introduced me to this item which is like a taco / burrito that they've turned into pizza form.
The "Birria Pizza"
Not something you can eat every day, that's for sure, but definitely something that is amazing once in a while to split among friends at the end of a night.

I ordered from here through Uber Eats, and I ordered TWO birria tacos & I only received ONE with NO sauce and only two tacos when from the pictures you will assume you are getting three. For all of this, I could’ve gotten Taco Bell or Chipotle.
Gowanus has long been suffering from any good grab-n-go places. And, while I would necessarily describe this place as fast food -there was a 15 mins wait from the time I ordered, it was certainly faster than getting anything from 5th Ave/park slope or cobble hill.
First timers should try the Birria tacos. The green sauce is excellent as well.
