DO NOT ORDER FOOD DELIVERY FROM THEM. The food is horrible. Half of my order was missing. Lady who answers the phone had no idea about customer service or my food order

If you order garlic chicken or chicken and broccoli They definitely skimp you on the chicken. And they even skimp you on the rice. They need to fry the fried rice more . Asking for extra duck sauce is a sin there. Chicken wings are so expensive now there as well.
I literally called an hour ago for a soup an egg roll called four times to ask where it is and she kept telling me it’s on the way it’s not here and they never deliver over an hour

Food does not taste good. Gave it more than one chance. And soup wasn’t hot enough. (I’m only around the corner.)No problem with the service of delivery, though. Price and quantity appropriate.
Very tasty Chinese food, they won me over. In the beginning of the transition between Crab Du Jour and the return of their Chinese food they had to make adjustments and they made the right adjustments and their Chinese food got better. Now I'm a fan, they also are very understanding when it comes to fixing orders if they make a mistake. I have to say Hunan Cottage on Avenue X has competition, New Star has better portions, some outstanding dishes like the Triple Delight with Garlic sauce, Orange chicken and Thai Basil Beef with a more diverse menu than Hunan Cottage. I highly recommend New Star.

Our go to Chinese restaurant for take out, good food
Do not order from these people. It took four phone calls and over two hours to get the following order: 1 chicken egg foo young combo, 1 ma po tofu, and 1 tomato wonton egg drop soup. We asked for the ma po tofu to be as mild as possible, but they made it extra spicy. This is the second time we’ve had a problem with the ma po tofu, by the way. When my wife called them re the inedible food, we were told it would take at least an hour to replace it. We have thrown out the menu and will not order from them again.

Quality has gone down. New folks? Seem less friendly food tastes less fresh.
Our go to Chinese restaurant for take out, good food
Food is decent but multiple times they say "30-40 minutes" and we are stuck waiting over an hour. When I call the restaurant they say the "delivery guy is close" or "he's a few blocks away". I'm never ordering again from this place.
Excellent consistently well prepared food. Ordered the roast pork with mixed vegs and the roast pork was fabulous. Nice assortment of vegs and tasty brown sauce. Wonton soup contained really good meaty wontons. Every item I’ve tried at this place from the old location on Ave X to the new location on Ave Z has been terrific.
Delicious food but staff seem to be miserable and totally rude.
