Had a terrible experience here, which is truly a shame. We have been loyal customers and have mostly enjoyed the food, bar one time.

Last week we ordered food for 4x people and all of us had stomach issues within an hour. When we inspected the chicken it was extremely pink and undercooked.

We called the restaurant to give them a heads up and help salvage other people’s food. The girl on the phone apologized, thanked us for the information and (unprompted) offered us a refund.

When my fiancé went in a week later, she was met with hostility from the owner who was shouting from the kitchen. She did not wish to have the conversation out loud about their food making her sick, as a curtesy for fear their customers would hear.

The owner was rude, said it was our fault, and told her that in no uncertain terms would we be getting a refund, despite the fact this had been offered to us (without us asking for it). A complete waste of everyone’s time.

These guys are as unorganized in the kitchen (serving undercooked food) as they are front of house (offering unauthorized refunds).

For them to completely change their tone and try to blame their customers seems extremely short sighted on their part.

Vibes on point and the food is pretty decent with the ban xeo the comparable to the style we had in Vietnam. also the sauces were pretty decent and had unique creativity to them. we had bird cage pho banh mi lemongrass chicken which was a bit salty, and spring rolls that had shrimp with the tail on which it would reminiscent of Vietnam as well. but overall the atmosphere was great to catch up with some friends and have a pretty decent lunch. but yeah ban xeo was bomb

Food was delicious, prepared fresh and with care. I dined in but very quickly gathered myself to leave when a roach crawled up the wall by my seat. Staff and service was great

neighborhood guy that’s loves this place 👋🏾but i just paid $20 for a to-go bánh mì sandwich with a rubber band. no rubber band bánh mì is worth $10, let alone $20. sadly, i’ll be taking a break from this place :/

Honestly really under whelming. I figured most people in this area are going here before the show but nothing particularly stood out with the food and the vibes of the place are too low-key for much you're paying.

Pho had no flavor at all. I had to cover the broth in sauce. The inauthentic flavors and the techno blasting made for a particularly uncomfortable dining experience.

Nothing good about this place except the sauces. We used them heavily to mask the flavorless pho. Inauthentic, horrible house music played way too loudly, spring rolls took 15 mins to come out. STRONG gentrifier vibes.

A gentrifying social hub, nothing more. Gave me bad/dismissive vibes when I didn’t match the hipster vibe. Flavorless food, not authentic Vietnamese food/culture. I’ve been multiple times and bahn mi and pho broth both severely lack flavor every time. They make all of these fusion sauces, which I can usually respect, but most of these aren’t good or balanced, all these fancy names but kinda gross for the most part. My friends and I all agree on this. I wish they replaced it with a real Vietnamese spot, catering to everyone, not just people who come here, raise the rent and tend to not truly join/give back to the NYC community. They need to create a flavorful and welcoming space that respects those who grew up here and are seeing their neighborhood change to their detriment.

Food was mediocre at best and below average for the price. I wish an authentic spot would open up rather than these money grubbing yuppie catering types

The food was great. The person at the counter had a very bad attitude and made both my partner and I feel very uneasy. We still tipped though :-)

I usually like this place but I waited an hour and a half for them to make my food wrong twice. I ordered the spam bun gluten free and when it first came out after waiting 50min it had crunchy onions on it that are not gluten free and asked them to remake it. I ordered the noodles but once it was remade they gave me rice.

Absolutely loved the vibe in here and the food was delicious. They have a sauce bar with a lot of creative options. Pho was tasty as was the banh mi.
