I purchased and tried the 1972 Old School and Napoli espresso bean. Purchasing direct from the roaster they could not have been fresher with a roast date of 3/19, received on 3/24. Looks like I have found the beans I like for my espressos and cortados. Just good, dark smooth arabica and robust beans. I also purchased the original Espresso beans but haven't tried those yet. Can't imagine I won't enjoy those either! Priced right and ships fast. I'm a happy new customer

I went here for the first time today to buy beans. I used them and see a big difference in these beans and the ones I used to buy from trader joes. These beans are very fresh. The individual who assisted me was very nice and helpful. Prices are good as well, especially since their quality is really good. I look forward to coming back and trying out the other types of beans as well!

Italian coffee shop in Dyker Heights, they do not serve coffee, only beans. Their House blend is excellent as is the rest of their freshly roasted beans. They also have a large imported selection of coffee as well as coffee machines.

Tried the Old School and thought that was my fav, until we tried the Classic - best coffee ever! What I really appreciate about the owner is he cares more about you getting a good product and experience, than he does about making a quick sale. He's very generous with his time, knows his stuff, and is an absolute pleasure to talk to always. If you don't live local, he also ships directly to your door.

This business has integrity. When I said I used a pour over to prepare coffee, the owner said his espresso beans aren't the right fit and that his Colombian beans wouldn't live up to the extraction of a pour over.I bought a pound of Napoli for my underused Moka pot.

Not going to lie, I basically grew up down the block and have literally passed by this place for the past 30 years without going in. The smell was always enticing but the store was a bit intimidating in my younger days. I finally took a leap of faith a couple years ago and decided to go in. The store itself has a old school Italian vibe. It's a small shop and they have wall to wall gadgets to fit your coffee needs. They usually sell two of their freshly roasted beans along with carrying other well known brands. Their beans are very affordable and in my opinion, taste better than other big brand coffees. I usually prefer their medium roast which offers a sweeter nutty flavor.The original owner was a cute and charming older gentleman who was always accompanied by an older dog. The cutest employees ever! He was always very welcoming and quite funny.
I am currently using Nicoletti Old School 70's roast. It's fantastic, especially as restretto. Aldo is customer oriented. His beans are roasted fresh, he ships fast, the price is right, and they are delicious. What's not to like?

IN A WORD ... AWESOME !!! You wanna go here if you want coffee...REAL COFFEE !!! The staff is helpful and especially if you know what you want ... but don't exactly know how to explain it. LOL. They have everything from light roast to eye poppers. I told them I wanted something strong but not killer. Dark roast ... but not burnt. And something that works in my machinette ( Mika pot ) Told them I had a grinder but wasn't exactly sure how to get the right grind. They gave me a sample of the way it should be ground and told me to hold it between your fingers and when it feels this way ...you got it right !!! CUSTOMER SERVICE This is how you keep customers coming back ... I know I'll be coming back ... for sure !!!
