Always enjoy our visits to Nitehawk. They have great food and drinks. I don’t know why people say it’s pricey b/c it’s somewhat comparable to what you might spend at a “normal” theater and you get way better movie snacks. They have a good variety of food, comfy seats, and everyone is usually pretty friendly.
Love this cinema. They always have great films showing and it’s so nice to be able to get a snack/drink during the showing. Funny little shorts before the movie too instead of tons of ads
Always a fun time with great bites
The nitehawk is a nice relaxed dine in movie theatre service. While I prefer the quant feeling of the Williamsburg one his one is also nice.
I freaking love this place I love the popcorn
Very cozy and hippy movie theater. I love ordering food at the movies. They have very cool ads at the start. Main issue is I wish they had reclining seats.
I love this movie theater 🎦. Only thing they need more bathrooms.
Great.
Love the concept but wish the food was better. Asked for coconut oil on my popcorn and paid the up-charge but still got butter. :/
Nitehawk Cinema – A Perfect Blend of Movies and Dining
Nitehawk Cinema is one of the best places in Brooklyn to watch a movie. The theaters have a cozy, intimate feel, with comfortable seating and small tables for food and drinks. What makes it special is the dine-in service—you can order restaurant-quality food and drinks right to your seat, making it a unique and enjoyable experience.
The menu is creative and features options inspired by the films being shown. The servers are efficient and discreet, so the movie experience is never interrupted. The preshow is always fun and carefully curated, adding to the overall charm of the visit.
Nitehawk also stands out for its programming. They show a mix of new releases, indie films, and cult classics, along with special events and Q&A sessions with filmmakers. There’s always something interesting on the schedule, making every visit feel different.
Overall, Nitehawk Cinema is a must-visit for film lovers looking for a more personal and elevated movie experience. It combines great movies, great food, and a great atmosphere—perfect for a night out in Brooklyn.
Restaurantji Recommends
The staff is very friendly and attentive. The theater is very clean and I love the nachos.
Severely overpriced, meh popcorn and food, can't speak on the quality of the cocktails because they were to expensive to even think about... Even a cup of sparkling water ran me 5 dollars. Service was great though, I like their system. If you have 100 dollars to drop on a movie experience (per person!) would maybe recommend if it's convenient. Seats were also meh
Similar experience than the Alamo Drafthouse. Almost as good but still a great experience. I recommend. 4 stars just because they got rid of the best thing on the menu: Cheeto Dusted Chicken Strips! #neverForget
Better use of your money than AMC. Reasonably priced drink and food. Its indie, so even better.
The seats are extremely uncomfortable, so it’s hard to sit through an entire movie. On top of that, you’re seated so closely to a person next to you that it feels awkward (like you are on a date with a random person next to you...). The whole experience just felt off. I wouldn’t come back here.
