The bao with dan dan pork doesn’t work. It makes the bao soggy and becomes sticky to the metal serving. It was hard to taken out of the metal serving. Needs to rethink the recipe.

Tried to call to complain about order no answer goes to voice mail. General tsp chicken was so over cooked the pieces were hard as rock so disappointing to spend $22 on an inedible dish and then not have a way to contact to complain. Last time I go there

It had been a long time since I'd been excited about Chinese food, but dining at Noodle Lane on a recent Sunday evening changed that completely. This is damn good food- intensely flavorful, surprising, beautifully presented. We have eaten take-out from Noodle Lane several times and always enjoyed- particularly the soup dumplings- which have to be tried to be believed- but dining in the restaurant made the food taste even more delicious. Along with dumplings and our noodle favorites- we tried two dishes that were new-to-us: Mala Dry Pot with shrimp, and Pickled Fish Sichuan Style. Mala Dry Pot was chock full of things I love- crunch from cauliflower and veg, tofu, sesame, and a delicious sauce, despite the word "dry" in the dish name. The Pickled Fish was unlike anything I've ever had- tart and spicy at the same time, but not too hot, so that the flavors shone through. We had a side of green and fresh seasonal veg and enjoyed a nice Gruner Veltliner with the meal- cooling and bright paired with the bold flavors. Throughout the evening, the service was professional and warm, though the staff was hopping with lots of tables filled and lots of take-out orders being prepared. We were near the kitchen- which has a big window to see where the magic takes place- in a cozy corner. Noodle Lane is such a great addition to the neighborhood- though also worth coming to from afar. The interior is bright and modern but also cozy; a comfortable space for a gathering of two or three friends; and also nice for families. Our kid loves the food! We enjoyed the neighborliness of the restaurant and seeing people we knew, having a short-but-sweet conversation before they left. Our experience dining at Noodle Lane came at the end of an incredibly busy period and it was so nice to simply sit back, relax, and be treated to amazing food. You should come treat yourselves, too!

BEST chinese restaurant in Park Slope. Everything was delicious, fresh made, and FULL of flavor. We loved the scallion pancakes, the soup dumplings, the mala hot pot, sesame noodles, mapo tofu, too much to name. Recommend highly!

Everything is delicious! It's worth it just to see the adorable bowl/spoons that you get with your soup dumplings. Nice space and gracious service.

We just moved to Park Slope and this is our new favorite place! The food is excellent!!! My husband is a tough critic as he's a major foodie and he's been raving about how good everything is. We had the eggplant/chicken, chicken schezwan, shrimp fried rice and pork dumplings - all A plus! So happy to have found this place and will definitely be back!

We come whenever we are in the neighborhood. It is so hard to find a decent Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn that is not in Brooklyn Chinatown. Everytime we come, we order their pork and crab soup dumplings and mini buns. The soup dumplings are so delicious- wrapper is thin and delicate enough to hold all the juicing meat and broth inside. The mini buns are also very tasty and juicy. My personal favorite is their Singapore noodles. Everything is just so flavorful but not over-seasoned. And staff is also friendly.

Stopped by for dinner on Lunar New Years and left thoroughly impressed by the selection, quality and service. We ordered the crab and pork soup dumplings (a must), fish in chili sauce, salt and pepper shrimp and mala pork belly. The food came out hot, flavorful, and true to taste. The only drawback was that we didn't order more soup dumplings but rest assured this will be remedied next visit!

Service here is so bad it's difficult to comprehend. Taste wise some of it is very good like the steamed vegetable dumplings and beef lo mein, but the watery broth for the noodle soup or the flavorless crumbly scallion pancakes are plain bad. After 8 visits I know enough of the good dishes to put together a nice meal. But the service is so consistently terrible we're done. There are too many examples. Everything takes so long, waiting to order, waiting for food, waiting for water or the sauce they forgot while the hot dumplings sit on the table. The worst was when I went alone on a cold day and got 1 order of dumplings and some hot tea. It was a whole pot of tea that was obviously way too big for 1 person which would be fine but it was $15! Server should have mentioned that when I ordered it without a menu. Too bad cuz my kids and I like it we'll enough, but the pace is too slow and 1 kid is finished eating dumplings while the other hasn't gotten her soup.

Had a craving for some Dan Dan noodles and dumplings and saw we had a new restaurant in the area! Was so excited to try after seeing all the positive reviews. 1) Dan Dan noodle didn't really scratch my itch. It was lacking meat and flavor. It wasn't bad but it's not something I'd ever order from here again. Not a fan. 2) scallion pancake: this was probably the biggest disappointment of my order. They didn't taste like anything. Where is the scallion? I barely saw any and it just tasted like fried dough. 3) Pork & Chive dumplings: we'll end on a high note. I could eat a thousand of these. They were perfect! If everything else was this flavorful, I'd have given them 5 stars, no question. These puppies were packed with happiness and if I ever have a craving for dumplings again, I'll be ordering these. Maybe they're still dialing things in? They're still new so I don't want to be too harsh. That being said, if you're gonna have noodle in the name, your noodles should be great too!

I recently visited and was disappointed with both the service and the food. The wait for our meals was much longer than expected, and we ordered fried buns, dumplings, and shrimp noodles was so awful and oily in taste and quality. We left it. While I hoped for a better experience, unfortunately, this visit didn't meet my expectations. You can skip this place
