Things you need to know before you feast here: 1. Cash only, 2. No reservations and 3. You’ll wait and it could be 20 minutes like us tonight or 45. But I must said is worth it, Brooklyn Heights is charming enough to take a nice walk while you bide one’s time. Andy was quite the star tonight, he faces some great recommendations, from the Rigatoni allá norma to the Grilled octopus which is one of the best I’ve had in some time. Just simple but delicious, was one of those dishes that on its simplicity didn’t lack any depth of flavour or character. Another favourite for me was something my husband had years ago and all this time after was still mouthwatering, the Garlic bread with Calabrian chilli get it and have it with the Meatballs. Also amazing and worth mentioning the Tre colore salad and the Hanger steak. For dessert we took home the Chocolate espresso cake order it and have a night cap or a coffee with it. So come in, share some food, listen to your server, bring the cash and enjoy a tasty cozy meal. Will be back soon!

This is a really cozy and cute neighborhood spot which I want to love, however both times we’ve been the food has really disappointed. Come for the atmosphere, but go somewhere else for tasty Italian food.
I want to like Noodle Pudding so badly. It has a lot going for it - cozy, family friendly, and the wait staff seems truly nice. The place was packed on what i thought would be a slow holiday weekend, so people clearly like it.
The food however, was truly awful. I ordered a “seafood ragu” which was nothing close to a ragu. Instead, i was served pasta with watery tomato sauce no better than what comes from a can , surrounded by some mediocre seafood. Nothing like the slow cooked meat and vegetables a ‘ragu’ should be. My wife’s cacio e Pepe was slightly better, but still odd that the additional zucchini came as raw strips added in. Our side of broccoli was bland and tasteless (even our 4 year old refused to eat it, he eats broccoli all the time at home).
Two stars as our toddler loved the lasagne.

Really a nice spot; we had many dishes to share - great idea to savor many different dishes. Razor Clams totally still the show but the wild papardelli was a great second! Mike sure to ask for Ischia wine, nice pairing.

This place is very old school and stubbornly stays that way. It's a great spot for neighborhood regulars. The food it supremely Italian-American, hearty and grounding. Not fussy with presentation but deeply satisfying.

Decent restaurant, food was ok. My order was not as described on the menu but it was pretty good so didn't make a fuss. I get up to use the restroom and can chased by a bartender asking if I need help. I explain I need to use the restroom and get asked if I am dining there, the restroom is customers only. I just spent $300 at this restaurant to get publicly embarrassed by someone who thinks I don’t belong there. Was just thinking I should come back with my coworkers as I work in the area but after this experience, I left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome.

Easily one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in New York. Noodle Puddings is a true, unique gem of a restaurant. The staff is so sweet, sincere and authentic - you can tell the staff takes great pride in their work and the restaurant. The food is incredible - and the prices? $14 cocktails and $5 house wine... come on. Where are you going to find such high quality and affordable food prices like this in New York? Let alone in an affluent neighborhood like Brooklyn Heights.
Food and drinks highlights were: martini served with shaker for remaining liquid; super tender calamari; lamb ragu with whole chunks of lamb (not ground!); and homemade fusilli that was so tender and looked like asparagus.
What a special restaurant. I'm excited to go back and share it with my friends.
