I wasn’t a fan of this restaurant. I thought the food lacked proper Thai flavor that I’ve had similar in Thailand as well as other restaurants. It tasted like it was put together on the fly, and the noodles were soggy and so spicy that it was inedible. The tofu was dry and very difficult to swallow. The only good thing about this spot is the decor so if you’re about that this is the spot for you. If you want tasty authentic food, you’re probably going to have to look somewhere else.

I really wanted to rate Nora Thai higher, but unfortunately they let themselves down.
My partner and I made an impromptu visit whilst in Williamsburg. The staff were friendly and we initially received prompt attention. I explained to our server that I do not like any heat or spice in my food and asked her to tell me if my chosen dishes contained spice. She assured me they were very mild.
The starter, chicken and shrimp, was very enjoyable. However, my main was far too spicy for me to eat. I ordered the chicken cashew nut, and it had so much heat that I could not manage more than a couple of mouthfuls.
The bigger issue was that we could not get the server’s attention, so I ended up just eating the rice while my partner continued with his meal. When the server eventually came back, she noticed my full plate and asked about it. I explained that it was too spicy, and she did offer to replace it, but by that point my partner had already finished his meal.
I do wish restaurants would check in shortly after food is served to make sure everything is correct and that guests are happy. Asking near the end of the meal makes it awkward, as I am not going to order a full replacement dish when my partner has already finished and is simply waiting for me.
This was not a cheap meal either. I will not be returning, but I hope the restaurant takes this feedback on board as some staff retraining and more attentive table checks would make a big difference.

Visiting Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn. Found this real nicely decorated Thai Resto. Authentically decorated !! Ordered papaya salad, edamame for appetizers . Steamed bass ( palatable)with ginger and scallions , yellow curry chicken ( need more coconut milk for creamier curry )and steamed rice . Ran out of the tres leches Thai style ! Too bad , no sticky rice with mango either . Ambiance was romantically lit. Waiter friendly . Not bad if you can't find any other place .

Went here on a quiet Wednesday afternoon for a solo date after some shopping. The place was very nice, good music, calm vibes. Truly beautiful space. The serving staff was so sweet and attentive! I got their lunch special pad see ew with chicken and pork dumplings added on for 3+ dollars and it was amazing. They also had happy hour! So I got a mango and ginger Margarita that was perfect amount of strong and sweet. The ginger added an AMAZING kick. Over all amazing meal, amazing place and would most definitely be back again!
Wow, the porkchop was amazing! Drinks and appetizers were delicious and the sevice - best in class! Definitely come here if you want awesome Thai food while you're in Williamsburg. Shoutout to B and the team for making our surprise wedding shower amazing :)

I almost began to write this review as I was sitting down at my bare table with the check sprawled across, but I decided to enjoy my time instead of allowing the displeasure to alter my mood.
It was my first time at this restaurant and it completely left a bad taste in my mouth as shortly after we ordered, the hostess did not hesitate to bring over my check. No food. No drinks. Just the check delivered with apologies from the hostess claiming we have to close our tab as if we were at a bar… to THEN mess up BOTH orders of my drink, & also have to update the bill twice over as we continue to order.
Whatever may have occurred before for that precedent to be set, ok fine. But maybe implement the proper protocols so that their restaurant isn’t diminished in quality for the patrons’ experience. Especially for myself as someone that likes to explore new eateries and find gems of restaurants. The wings & dumplings were also something I could’ve popped out of my air fryer but hey I don’t think anything would’ve tasted well after the bad taste I got once the bill was delivered without even being given any water atleast!
