North Pole Pub is a good spot to hang out before a Liberty game or any event at Barclays. It’s usually not too crowded, so you can easily grab a seat, have a drink, and catch some sports on the big screen. They’ve got good beer-and-shot combos and even serve herring, a fun touch you don’t see everywhere.

Overall, it’s a laid-back, unpretentious bar that’s great for a pre-game stop or a quiet drink if you’re in the neighborhood.
Moving to Parkslope/ Downtown Brooklyn from the Bronx, adjusting to new neighborhood, ha, the rival borough. Surrounded by such beautiful, unique diversity in the culinary arts and experiences; The North Pole, within a year of my arrival to the neighborhood, organically has become my to go spot, my safe space. Not just when I visit alone to work on my writing at 2/3 in the morning, but also when I’ve brought a close friend to vent about her romantic relationships and heartaches,...
One of the best places I have ever been to. Chill out, drink bring your food if you would like...I visit this establishment very very often... because of the relaxing and laid back vibe.
