I did a delivery to this location earlier in the day and decided to return for a meal, it was worth sitting in traffic. It was a great meal. Highly recommend it.

Let me start by saying that I absolutely hate giving bad reviews. But, I spent $70 to have food delivered and was disgusted by what showed up. The portion sizes were way too small for starters. Then there's the food itself... The pappardelle with meat sauce.. how does an Italian restaurant serve anything but Al dente pasta?! Mine was gummy and mushy!!! The rice balls were mush and so peppery that the one and only bite i took burned my tongue. Chicken Parm tastes like it was frozen patties and then was just swimming in watery, flavorless tomato sauce with one tiny piece of cheese on top. The mashed potatoes were the consistency of drying clay, the cheesecake was smaller than the palm of my hand,and who charges $3 for a can of soda?! This is the most expensive bag of garbage I've ever had at the curb.

Great little neighborhood Italian restaurant. Fresh pasta. Excellent meatballs. Wine was delicious. Waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable. Great spot!

I happened to sit next to a very nice family that just visited a family member in the hillside mausoleum GWC so they asked me about a famous rapper that was buried there. I provided the info that I know & they were very thankful, we had a great conversation & little did I know they paid for my meal. Well I thought that was the sweetest gift I’ve received. I went out to thank them but they we’re gone. Feeling blessed to have sat next to them. Over & over there’s nothing but great experiences in the best Italian restaurant in Brooklyn.

The best of the best of the best. I cannot believe I'm lucky enough to have Nostro as my local Italian spot. The owner is from Italy, and knows exactly what she is doing. The entire staff are friendly and warm, and the food is the best quality I've had in NYC. Loyal customer for life <3

Ugh I've been coming here for years! Highly recommend! BUUTT the male waiter with the mustache is extremely rude, uninviting, and nasty! Maybe racist? That's how I felt. My Hispanic family and I didn't feel welcome unlike the other families who dined in here tonight. I had to ask for napkins, utensils, cheese!!! Water, literally everything. I miss the old nostros ?

Very good food. I had the pasta of the day which was a truffle creme filled gnocchi and it was fantastic. It was reasonably priced for the quality of food, and the table bought 2 wine bottles for $30 each, which was also reasonable. We ate outside (it was a tad chilly) and though the restaurant seemed to have heaters available, they were not installed.

Got cussed out by the delivery driver, then called to report it and Marlon, the person I spoke to on the phone, told me “Who cares?” After I informed him of my bad experience. Absolutely unbelievableEdit: So that response from the owner says nothing about the extremely rude employee “Marlon” on the phone. Seriously, if that’s how they’re going to treat their customers I don’t know how they’ll stay in business. There’s a lot of places to get Italian food around here…

Consistently tasty as takeout. Fresh pasta that’s not al dente like pasta Louise and deliciously saucy. Can’t wait to try in person! Lasagna is great but be warned, a little heavy on the béchamel sauce. Their eggplant Mariana pasta is also ?

Agostino and Rumina were very welcoming! we complimented them on the Italian meals they offer, you can go there with your eyes closed, everything is excellent, cooked like in Italy!

This has nothing to do with the food, I wouldn’t know because I never had it, but this has everything to do with customer service and treating everyone with the same respect. At times I work doing Uber Eats delivery and when coming to pick up the food for a customer I am often COMPLETELY ignored. I let it slide the first time, the second, and but not this time !!! Strike 3 ! I come to pick up food to deliver for your customers and there should be better service when dealing with the Uber Eats delivery workers, Grubhub, etc. The fact that you would serve food for 8 minutes straight without ever addressing the delivery drivers and ignoring there presence is horrible! I was almost about to come sit and try this restaurant and I WILL NEVER AGAIN think to do that after experiencing that level of disrespect and unacceptable customer service experience. !!!!
