Bought almond cookies at Seabra in Newark, NJ. They are absolutely yum! Tastes like briscotties but a bit softer, taste like home made with real and clean ingredients. Not too sweet but very almondy. Great buy!!

We purchased linzer tarts from BG'S pine grove pa. Just so happened to walk in the isle where the cookies where. Luckily! My husband was reminded, of his youth eating tart Italian cookies. Being he was born Italian in Jersey. Italian heritage. We almost didn't find cookies, hard to come across, if you purposely avoid cookie isle. Thank you, wish I would come to your area to visit your bakery. Never visited Brooklyn!

Bought several items earlier this afternoon. The Tiramisu cup taste DAYS old..extremely stale is an understatement. The same applied to the Tres Leche cake slice I purchased also STALE. The only edible items from my purchase were my chocolate dipped cookies and single canoli cream puff. The other items were thrown in the trash. Sincerely disappointed by this horrible experience.

Bought a bread and dessert there today. I couldn’t cut dessert because it was hard as stone. Cashier told me that this dessert is super fresh from morning and I bought this stone at 11am. Ridiculous. The same situation with bread. Never will be there again.

Asked them for a half pound of the small cookies and the girl gave me 6 cookies and told me that’s a half pound and put them in a bag. This left me a little confused cause usually you get a box they add the cookies to the box and weigh them. I am really confused. I then got a pound of cookies and got 12 instead I am so confused she didn’t weigh those she said that was a pound. I the. Ordered other stuff like there eclairs but while getting that I asked her what something was and she was like oh a roll - I asked her what kind of cream was on top of it and she had no idea.

i was too lazy to walk to elegante so stopped in here for cookies. ..half the box was stale. I also bought a single serving slice of cake and it was wet, that was weird,...is there a leak in the fridge? shame on me for being lazy, i'll never go back in there. Was talking to a bunch of neighbors about it, and they agree that that place is no longer good, hasnt been for some time.

I ordered strawberry shortcake and I got strawberry jam cake. No fresh strawberries whatsoever and charged me $40. I didn’t care about price I would pay $100 if I had to but when somebody orders strawberry shortcake it means fresh strawberries not jam.

This place has gone downhill over the last few years. I just bought a pound of assorted cookies. Went to eat one as soon as we got home from the bakery and they were STALE! choc sprinkles, rainbow sprinkles, and the jelly cookies, all stale. So stale that if u inhaled while biting on one, youd literally choke on the stale brittle crumbs that flew to your throat. i stopped buying their servings of different cakes years ago bc they were always soggy and dripping wet (gross, no1 wants to drink their cake) - if you want quality, walk up towards west 8th. They wouldnt dare serve you stale cookies or sopping wet cake. So disgusted. A whole pound of cookies in the trash

Had their butter cookies for the first time yesterday while they were vendors in Spotswood NJ. They were the best cookies! My husband and I really enjoyed them and think we’ll have to make a special trip to the bakery one day.
