Asked them for a half pound of the small cookies and the girl gave me 6 cookies and told me that’s a half pound and put them in a bag. This left me a little confused cause usually you get a box they add the cookies to the box and weigh them. I am really confused. I then got a pound of cookies and got 12 instead I am so confused she didn’t weigh those she said that was a pound. I the. Ordered other stuff like there eclairs but while getting that I asked her what something was and she was like oh a roll - I asked her what kind of cream was on top of it and she had no idea.

i was too lazy to walk to elegante so stopped in here for cookies. ..half the box was stale. I also bought a single serving slice of cake and it was wet, that was weird,...is there a leak in the fridge? shame on me for being lazy, i'll never go back in there. Was talking to a bunch of neighbors about it, and they agree that that place is no longer good, hasnt been for some time.

I ordered strawberry shortcake and I got strawberry jam cake. No fresh strawberries whatsoever and charged me $40. I didn’t care about price I would pay $100 if I had to but when somebody orders strawberry shortcake it means fresh strawberries not jam.

This place has gone downhill over the last few years. I just bought a pound of assorted cookies. Went to eat one as soon as we got home from the bakery and they were STALE! choc sprinkles, rainbow sprinkles, and the jelly cookies, all stale. So stale that if u inhaled while biting on one, youd literally choke on the stale brittle crumbs that flew to your throat. i stopped buying their servings of different cakes years ago bc they were always soggy and dripping wet (gross, no1 wants to drink their cake) - if you want quality, walk up towards west 8th. They wouldnt dare serve you stale cookies or sopping wet cake. So disgusted. A whole pound of cookies in the trash

Had their butter cookies for the first time yesterday while they were vendors in Spotswood NJ. They were the best cookies! My husband and I really enjoyed them and think we’ll have to make a special trip to the bakery one day.
Nuccio’s has the BEST Italian cookies I’ve ever had — the powdered jelly ones are so soft and crumbly without being dry. And the sesame cookies have the best flavor ever. I suggest getting a variety because they’re all so tasty.

I bought Nuccio assorted cookies at D'agostino (1st mistake); overpriced of course. They are the most tasteless "Italian" cookies I have ever had. There are about 50 ingredients listed with an expiration date 3 months from today. So no way this is bakery quality. Oreos would have been a big improvement and cheaper.Through in garbage. Don't waste your money on their products in grocery store.!

Local, local, local, yes your local bakery has all the Italian specialties you'd expect and so delicious too. Lobster claw, pignoli cookies, biscotti, apple turnovers, are a few of the spectacular sweets you will get at Nuccio' s Bakery!

While no place is perfect , this bakery comes close. If you want specific desert items, they tend to sellout you need to call in the AM and reserve. Everything I've ever gotten here has been absolutely amazing.The staff need to smile more, but retail can be tough.
