A small, cozy store with its own bakery. Always very tasty, fresh bread, great pastries, and a wide selection of familiar products from Russia and the post-Soviet region. The quality is consistently excellent.

I've been buying your Nezhinsky bread for quite a while but in my recent Netcost order I discovered a fly and a bug in your bread which was very unsettling. I hope you investigate it and prevent it from happening again but for now unfortunately you lost yourself a customer.

My child is going to Mark Twain near by. So my family had some walk around to get to know the neiborhood and suddenly we all smelt so delicious baking! We went shop and got Turkey chocolate, Israel halbar, Russian ice cream, Ukrain ice cream, Italy sponge cake, Bellaus cake and Georgia 4 cheese bread. Felt like already have gone to all the countries and the lady at the counter was very kind to explain all my questions about the pastries. I may go here every day and have sweet treat for myself!

When I see a store named ‘New York Bread Company,’ my mouth waters. I can’t wait to enter and see, and smell, all the wonderful varieties of bread! What a disappointment to find a tiny supermarket through the front door, with maybe eight feet of a few varieties of bread, all wrapped in clear plastic. Plus lots of Russian sounding food choices.
VERY RUDE this is the second time I stopped to get fresh bread and was completely ignored. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ll get my bread elsewhere. Why would I give my money to a business that treats me like I’m invisible.

The Russian sourdough rye bread is devine! I actually bought the loaf at another store and it was so good that I had to look up where it's made, which is in this place. Will definitely come here directly for the bread in the future
