Bought a loaf of sourdough, and it was already hard as a rock the next morning. Either it was old or badly stored. Very disappointed

When we arrived at the shop 5–10 minutes before closing, the doors were already locked even though there were employees inside. It was clear they had just locked up. We said we only wanted a piece of cake because we had walked several blocks just for it, but the girl at the counter rudely turned us away and said, ‘I don’t care.’ We were quite surprised and found her attitude very rude. That said, the place still has an amazing chocolate cake, but the staff’s tone is really unpleasant and off-putting

$2 for a hero !!? It's ridiculous!! From regular store it's 1.20 , from bakery it's $2 !! And I'm sure that you deliver to the same store who sell it for 1.20

Absolutely delicious bagel. You get to pick out your own bagel from a bin and then they'll toast it, add cream cheese, etc. The bagel was perfect- chewy in the middle, slight crisp on the outside.
The bread tastes great, I come here all the time. However, the last couple of times the regular round and square loaves had giant holes in them. When your machine slices them, they are useless for sandwich making. You might want to checkout the help once in a while to make surethe dough is mixed right, too much yeast or something.Sincerely, Jack M.

GET THE OLD WOMAN FROM BEHIND THE COUNTER ! Don’t snap at your workers! Rude! I feel bad for the staff that works with her .

I think this is one of the last few remaining places that European (and mixed) heritage people probably can still buy "foods" tailored for them in this neighborhood. The next best thing probably is Netcost for other foods; especially the elderly that eaten foods back in Europe. As well as truly baked and made in America. One more truly European food store left I think is on 86th Street Cherry Hill.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE TWO WOMAN THAT WORK THE MORNINGS. RUDE AND NO CLASS. IF YOU DON’T LIKE YOUR JOB QUIT. NO ONE WILL MISS YOU. TRUST ME. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR.
