Cozy and cute spot, very clean and is good for getting some work done or just hanging out. Food is great, I had a really spectacular croissant here and an AMAZING spinach quiche.

One of the worst ice lattes i have had in Brooklyn. It tasted like drip coffee. But most importantly, the barista was RUDE. We were siting outside and she literally came to us visibly annoyed saying “i kept shouting your name you should have heard me and collected your coffee from the counter” 1. We literally did not hear her 2. We were siting in the cafe seating area outside just a few steps away from where she was, how hard is it to serve us the coffee there? 3. Cafe wasn’t even busy. A little bit of kindness goes such a long way, especially for a new business. She made such a fuss that she had to take 5 steps to come hand us over the coffees. Shame on your hospitality!

Great service, had the pesto eggs and salmon as recommended by the barista and it was delicious!! The barista also made me a special drink for my birthday. Also super delicious. The place gives calm, cozy vibes. I’d def drop back in, the next time I’m in the area.

Saw a few reviews about the hours they operate not matching google. Went there and it was closed, despite what the hours here said. Just be sure to have a plan b as it appears this happens often enough.
Nyla is the best! The perfect place to journal, catch up with a friend, or work on your laptop. I love coming here, the baristas are so cool and kind and make you feel like a friend. The chai is amazing (iced dirty chai with almond milk pictured below), and everything I’ve tried I would get again. So glad this place opened.

Ordered a prosciutto quiche. Received mushroom. Went back and they gave me a new one, still mushroom. Pretty annoying to have to keep going back for the right thing. Can someone just get the order right?

the owner is extremely rude, I arrived at her coffee shop at 7:30 they were closing and I told her that on Google it said at nine and she said no that they closed at eight. I insisted again and told her that nothing happened, but that you changed the hours on Google, so that other people don't travel on purpose, like what happened to me, that I traveled on purpose, and instead of understanding what I was saying to her, she raised her voice at me and told me to go back to the city that I wasn't fooling her, then I showed her that her business hours say that they close at nine, and the truth is that it bothered her, so she told me to go away

Absolutely loved this café! The homemade banana bread is out of this world—moist, perfectly sweet, and clearly made with love. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, making the whole experience feel personal and cozy. I can’t wait to try their agua de Jamaica. And to top it all off, they have an amazing wine selection that pairs beautifully with everything on the menu. This place is a hidden gem—I’ll definitely be back!
