Hard to rate this place because there was no staff to serve us. Waited for 15 minutes. Anyone easily could have walked in and taken what they wanted. It’s a great street, so kept moving.

Eating my bodega sandwich in the street table and this bartender literally came out of the empty bar and threw my sandwich on the floor like an insane crazy lady lol this place actually owes me ten dollars if youre having such a bad day don’t come to work and take out your rage on other people, do anything else with your life.

Overall rating: 4.7I absolutely loved this bar and will become one of my go tos when I’m in the area. Super chill, laid back, rustic energy.I wish I took some pictures, but I’ll have to update this when I come back again :) this is a great spot for solo, friends, dates and anything in between. I thought the bartenders were so nice and the locals were chill. I didn’t feel creeped out or weird at all.The booths are also different seating than I’m used to, but also loved. Wish it was a tad, tad darker & slightly too bright. But highly recommend!

I was here one weekday night with friends to watch live jazz. The theme of the bar was sort of sailor and carpenter-themed. The jazz band was alright but a bit rudimentary. Overall it was a fine night.
Kid-friendliness: This is a bar mainly, so kids aren't allowed.

Love this cozy neighborhood spot ❤️
Oak and Iron is a great neighborhood bar. It has a great seating setup. You have stools around the bar itself and 3 large booths where you can sit facing your group. There a lot of outdoor seating in a street shanty. It's not a dive bar. It's also not so upscale that you feel uncomfortable. The staff is great. Every bartender I have met is pleasant and attentive.
Nice esthetic and super cool bartenders. Go check it out and get a cocktail from Fredy.
Bartender Fred was awesome !!! We had a great night!
