One of my favorite quick lunch spots in the city

Got 2 of the 4 vegan options onigiri - the nagi miso and veggie meat (with mayo) and they were both delicious. A little bit pricy but they were huge. Would definitely recommend getting the veggie meat with mayo if you eat dairy/eggs, it was amazing! Staff was super nice despite it being really busy.
Vegetarian options: 4 vegan onigiri flavors and a few veggie sushi options - avocado, avo cucumber, sweet potato, etc.

Really enjoyed the onigiris here. they are made fresh and they taste super delicious. My favorite was the spicy tuna. the only downsides are that they are super warm when you get them so they might break apart and they are also kind of expensive but they are at least big for onigiris. Would recommend if you're in the area!

Really enjoy their Mentaiko Onigiri
Their Onigiri are similar to the ones I could get from local handmade food stands in Tokyo, totally different from the ones sold in convenient stores!

Lovely food lovely variety of japanees food
We really wanted to like this place :/ I got the mentaiko and my friend ordered the karage and it both tasted fresh and the rice was still hot when she gave it to us. The portion size was good for the price. However BOTH were extremely extremely unbearably salty. I would have returned it but we left already and ended up tossing it out. It felt like we both ate 2 whole spoons of salt in that rice. Will not be ordering from here again.

Hard to find authentic and good onigiri. This place is it; perfect on-the-go snack.

Finally got the chance to check out Japan Village 5 years after it opened. It's just too out of the way for me to make a trip specifically to go there, so I never did until I happened to be in the neighborhood one Saturday at around 4:30. I have to say, it was pretty wack. It's crowded and over priced, and there is no parking. I live in NJ so I will just be sticking to Mitsuwa.
We’ve come here a few times to get some onigiri. Love the spicy tuna, karaage and tried a new beef one that’s featured. The service is not great. Not friendly at all.

ask around and people were telling its like been in Japan , been open less 3yrs and I was impress the entire area has moved up in style , can't wait to see all thats still coming .
Okay onigiri 3/5, but consider the size and price 4/5.Got the tuna mayo and shrimp tempura. They are hot when I got them. This might be good for a very affordable quick bite, but if you have more time, there are other options nearby.

The food is good. However, I've noticed that one of the workers have horrible customer service skills. I went with my friend and purchased 6 onigiri. I instead got 5 and told a worker. She tried to accuse me of stealing a rice ball, as if I didn't have a receipt in my hand. She also smushed my food, like why is it square? The worker has reddish-brown hair and bleached eyebrows.

Delicious selection of food. I love all the options of Onigiri that they offer. Sushi rolls are good too. Go there weekly at this point
