The avocado tuna sushi was fresh and tasty!
$26 for premade nigiris. Onigiris are amazing. The young hispanic cashier gets mad if you do not tip her. The asian cashiers are nice though.

The team working today was really disappointing. The cashier didn’t say a single word to me while I was ordering or when I tried to ask a question about the soups. Instead, he and the others were talking to each other in Spanish and laughing, ignoring the customers. Really unprofessional experience.
P.S I didn’t want to say about super salty ramen a word, cuz I already complained about other thing, but I decided I would. This place has been changed a lot since my last time

Obentoyasan is one of the various food stalls in the food hall of Japan Village. They serve large handmade onigiri, ready-to-eat bento boxes, and sushi. Not only that, but they also offer miso soup and sake cups.
Since the ready-to-eat bento boxes are kept refrigerated, they are chilled/cold upon purchase. The bento boxes can be saved and taken home, or eaten in the food hall. If you plan on eating them in the food hall, you may use the microwave to heat them up. The staff members were kind enough to instruct me on it: remove the plastic lid and microwave them for three minutes. Please get here early as seats are limited! Hope you enjoy it like I did!

I could eat the mentaiko mayo onigiri for breakfast lunch and dinner! And I did just that! Thank you for being so generous with mentaiko! The hot onigiri here is the best in the city! You guys always make the trip to industry city worth it! <3

My absolute favorite spot to grab a quick onigiri. They have so many options and each one that I have had is delicious. I don't live near here so when I do stop by it is always a must.

Last year (2024), I visited Japan Village and bought a to-go bento from Bento & Onigiri for dinner. It tasted great. This year (2025), I came back and bought another bento box for dinner, but it didn't taste as good as last year. Still, I didn't want to waste the $16 I spent. I was almost done with my meal when I noticed a BUG in the vegetables (photo attached). This is unacceptable...shame on you for not properly washing or cleaning the vegetables. I will not go back and buy from Bento & Onigiri!!

Good Onigiri, the rice was warm. The protein was balanced. The prices are also fair here. There is plenty of seating in the back, but it is packed later in the day.

Onigiri is okay - majority is rice and little filling.
Super delicious onigiri. Their karaage onigiri is delicious but I do also love their konbu onigiri 🤤 made fresh as you order, suuuuuuper large in size. It’s located just before the doors to the outside dining area. Almost always pick up one or two onigiri when I visit industry city. Can’t come to this place and not get anything.

I really enjoyed the food I got from here! It was fresh, amazing price and amazing portion. The onigiri was stuffed with fillings. They were on the saltier side, but I like salt so that wasn’t a problem for me. The salmon, negi miso, spicy salmon, and chicken was what my friends and I tried, and everyone really enjoyed the food! Only $21 for 6 onigiri! We were stuffed at the end!
