The small restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They serve Japanese cuisine. The restaurant is primarily a takeout with several tables for dining in. I ordered two bento boxes. Each bento box includes soup, salad, white rice, California roll, three shumai, shrimp and vegetable tempura and choice of an entree. I ordered the fried oysters and salmon teriyaki entrees. Everything was well-prepared with generous portions. The takoradi appetizer were fried octopus balls served with a dipping sauce. Friendly and quick service.

Very excellent service. Food is amazing and is amazingly cooked. Staffs are super nice. My wife and I love to come here late at night. There was this one time where they were closing and they still took us in !!! It was 11pm. you need to try their lemonade !!! 10/10

Probably the best sushi in all Bayridge (i have tried a couple sushi places and this tops them all! ) I always order the spicy tuna rolls and salmon avocado rolls, the owner is always friendly and asks me about my day ever since i became a regular here! Highly recommended for takeout or dine in ( the atmosphere isnt fancy, in fact its very simple and feels like a grocery store) but the food is spectacular and wins over any short comings in the decor

The host is amazing. She is a sweetheart and has excellent service. Her food is tasty, fresh, and incredible price. My favorite is their sushi. There soups are authentic. The food is not only tasty but very healthy. My health is in excellent condition by eating here. This has to the best sushi place in bay ridge. I would say this is the best sushi place in NYC. I come here 8 times a month. You have to try this place .

Okinawa is a small family run spot in Bay Ridge. Not only do they make the best Japanese food but they make the best overall food in the neighborhood. Their personable and great hospitality services makes you feel right at home as if you are part of their Okinawa family. The ambience of the restaurant is quaint and familial, making it the perfect setup for the food they are about to make. You cannot go wrong with any dish you choose from, my personal favorite is the chicken dumpling soup. The owner makes sure to remember all her customers’ names and faces… that effort alone makes you want to keep coming back. I strongly recommend coming to Okinawa and enjoying a meal for yourself at this wonderful gem of a restaurant.
