Okka is our go-to coffee spot. Their coffee/pastries are top-notch and most importantly, our daily morning chat with Oner is the best way to start our day. The man is an absolute legend.

Not only is this the best quality coffee in the Greenpoint/Nassau area, but the owner, Oner and his wife are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet! His warmth and smiles truly brighten my day and I can’t recommend their coffee + Turkish pastries enough.

The best coffee shop in Greenpoint! Sitting outside during a summer day is the ultimate Brooklyn experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and the Turkish treats are a must. A true neighborhood treasure!

The most delicious Chai latte in Brooklyn. Great place for a morning coffee as well, and with incredibly kind staff and owners.

No exaggeration, best coffee in Greenpoint.
(I was so upset when Upright closed but now I've found the other best coffee around)

This was my first time visiting Okka! It’s a super cute coffee corner that fits perfectly with the vibe of the neighborhood. I ordered a Turkish coffee, and it was simply perfect—just like you would get in Türkiye with proper foam on top. The baklava tasted amazing, and the Turkish delight was a great touch as well.

I love supporting places like this. They have a great coffee selection, are super friendly, and truly deserve to be supported to the fullest with their warm and welcoming attitude. Please stop by next time you’re in the neighborhood and buy your coffee from them rather than going to another chain.

This coffee shop owned by a sweet and cheerful couple is serving delicious and freshly made breakfast croissant sandwiches along with their super fresh coffee. Of course must try their authentic Turkish breakfast menu as well! Easy stop in our neighborhood for friendly faces and original morning delicacies.

Best iced coffee literally went every morning for the two summers I lived in the area. Staff is kind and the Turkish treats are amazing. 10/10.

My boyfriend and I had intended to make ourselves coffee every morning — that was until we discovered Okka.

Okka coffee is the best way to start my day — their iced lattes with oat milk are truly out of this world. They also have delicious pastries and Turkish bagels if you’re looking for a treat.

The best part of Okka, though, are its owners: Onur and his wife, Sefa! They are so kind and brighten my day every morning. Sefa also makes beautiful bracelets that, since purchase, I’ve never taken off.

Thank you, Onur and Sefa, for welcoming Troy and me into the neighborhood — we’re so lucky to have such a wonderful coffee spot so close by!

Good coffee and delicious pastries. You can’t go wrong with the gozlemes (my favorite was the spinach). The other pastries and desserts looked delicious and looking forward to eventually trying those.
