Very tiny bakery in Greenpoint. Has been around for many years. We make a 45 minute drive a couple of times a year, and it’s worth it. Old time neighborhood with, gratefully, old time service. Woman working was very pleasant and patient. The pastries are very good. And the place smells nice.

The staff was super friendly. The cheesecake was great!! It wasn’t sweet, and it was super smooth and spongy. A pastry or cake that’s not sweet is the highest compliment from an Asian person. I’m glad I walked by and tried it out!
Very good quality, great selection. The poppy seed roll is my favorite

To be honest I havent been there in 30 years, it was a great memory living over in GPT and those Poppy seed streudels are insane - the best in the world and so are their cheese danish . Im no where near there now but I used to pass by like once a week, (though I could have eaten every day ) .. Not sure why its not 10 stars--- people don't appreciate what they have.

I had the best cream filled puff of my life here. Will return.
Lovely little neighborhood bakery! The cashier is very friendly, especially to our kids. The cheesecake is good, and the raspberry croissant was very good. Will come again
Kid-friendliness: The whole staff were very friendly with my 1 year old, even giving him a croissant on the house.

Really good breads and cheesecakes. The owner is a lovely lady with a friendly attitude (thank you). Glad to support a small local business with quality products.

Yesterday, my mom ordered a bag from this cafe through the To good to go app. We came to pick up our bag on time, but the cafe was already closed. They must have been out of work on Christmas Day, even though the app didn't say anything about it. Well, we came back here today, but instead of getting the order, the salesperson kicked us out, she cursed, screamed, and interrupted my mom. Mom was very upset and even burst into tears, because it's not every day that you can meet such rudeness in a place where you expect to see friendly faces.

The service was rude, the server interrupted us and made a displeased face. They were unfriendly and did not greet us. We completely lost our desire to visit that cafe.
