This spot wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best I’ve had. The omakase itself was alright. I was very surprised to see that a lot of the fish was pre-cut rather than cut from the fillet. At times it felt like the meal was being rushed but maybe it was just this one time. Nothing quite special about the flavors (and many of which tasted very similar w/ similar toppings or sauces) but the presentation for certain courses were definitely interesting and intricate. Glad I tried this spot out but most likely won’t find myself here again.

This is by far not your typical sushi joint!! This is an experience of flavors presented in the most artistic form using the highest quality of products that shocks your palate and sends it on a mouthwatering trip of a lifetime! Yes it expensive, but completely worth every penny. Will definitely recommend to anyone who appreciates food in its finest form!!

I ordered the 15-piece omakese for two people (so the sushi two-piece photos are because we are two people). Overall, it is great for the area since there aren't many or any omakese places. I just recently flew back from Japan, so my taste buds are of higher standards, hence only gave 4 stars. The o toro could be a better quality, but all other pieces are great.

This is my favorite omakase spot in Brooklyn. They do amazing combos and those few that we have had consistently are their signatures. Their combination of ingredients never disappoint. Flavor is there. Each piece looks beautiful. Staff is nice and attentive. I love omakase because everytime we go, they update their pieces seasonally so you're always trying a few different pieces each time.

Went here for wife's birthday, didn't really expect much being that it was 1 stop away from where I live by the Q train. Arrived early but was able to sit at the bar, chefs and waitress greeted us. We ordered and then the magic started happening. Each piece of sushi was delicious and the flavors that Hiro was able to develop were all amazing. Each bite more delicious as the omakase progressed. The meal is filling and the meal goes fast if you want it to. We were hungry and it was like 5-10 each course giving you time to chat and have a sip of sake. Overall amazing food and the staff is super hospitable. Hidden gem in sheepshead, if you enjoy omakase sushi you should stop by and check them out. Want to come back with my father.
