after reading a number of reviews, i was looking forward to trying this place in my always-on search of excellent pad thai in brooklyn.
well, the search continues — ordered chicken pad thai thru uber eats and i was extremely underwhelmed.
very light colored sauce that leaned very vinegar in flavor and little to no tamarind if any. i prefer more dry style sauce coverage w flavor but never hold amount of sauce against a good flavor profile — and unfortunately this didn’t make the mark.
i’d give this place another go if someone i know would reco, maybe pad thai isn’t their strength but at least wanted to give an honest take on one of my most loved dishes☺️

Food was disgusting. The drunken noodles were like soup, the eggs and chicken were burnt, they sneakily add a whole tomatoe on the bottom of the food to make the plate look like it has more volume (tomatoes were boiled because of that, disgusting), and there were black shavings off whatever pot or wok they were using. Very disgusting and seriously not worth the money. I am convinced they have people writing good reviews for them because I can get better quality food at a less fancy thai resturant than this one. Don't waste your money on garbage, go elsewhere.

I ordered from Uber Eats tonight. This was the worst experience for Thai food. Stay far away from here. Not only was rice not included, the rice I ordered was served *congealed and uncooked in a plastic bag.* How the hell is this place rated so high? Also, Uber eats only re-imbursed for the rice. I ordered a curry, rice goes with that. Why would I be eating without it? I would not have ordered that without having rice (gratis or no.) I can't believe this. Be warned.
Edit (12/30 2:23PM) Two things: I tasted the rice, it wasn't cooked, I assure you. I've had sticky rice before at other places. Second, the listing made *no mention* of included rice. That was why I ordered the rice in the 1st place. But... thank you for responding.

I ordered the lunch special with a spring roll, spicy pork panang curry, and tung thong appetizer. I highly recommend this place if you are interested in Thai curry. You can taste the herbs and spices very well. The sauce was well balanced, not too much fish sauce, and the right amount of sugar. Definitely a highlight of the neighborhood. The tung thong appetizer was a nice surprise. Boiled quail eggs in a fried wonton wrapper. It was a pleasant and light crunchy bite.
The service was excellent.

Service was quick and efficient and atmosphere was good. However, I was disappointed by the food quality. The drunken noodles were bland and the pad thai noodles were undercooked.
