GREAT food, cool dim lit vibe... but felt a little neglected with the service... order taken, food dropped off in a fairly reasonable amount of time... didn't hear from the waitress again until it was time to drop off the check... stayed with the tap water we were served at the start of the visit. To be fair, it was busy. Still need a check in at least once during the meal.

I just left the restaurant, Very unkind staff! They let me wait standing at the door for few minutes without even saying Hi! The girl in a withe shirt saw standing and she completely ignored me. Very unprofessional person. After 5 minutes sitting without even the menu or a glass the water the server came to complain with me because I decided to seat in a big table (I was standing waiting for to be welcomed But It didn't happen)
If the manager allowed the stuff to be that unprofessional ...he may need some better training then his servers!

Quiet & quaint restaurant. The Truffle Burrata Crostini was the best thing on the menu. The lobster cavatelli was okay. Staff was fantastic & attentive. Definitely a team sport over there.

Cute, quaint little Italian spot. The service was amazing, they offered great recommendations, and were very attentive to our needs. Would recommend a reservation if you have a group over 4 people. The food was fantastic. We had pizza and pasta both, as well as the spinach and artichoke dip (which comes with amazing garlic bread), all the food was delicious! Will definitely be back.

If you're looking for a new spot for incredible Italian food in Williamsburg, look no further. This place is a standout, serving some of the best pasta, risotto, and classic Italian dishes you'll find in the neighborhood. A Taste of Home in Williamsburg: Oregano Delivers Classic Italian Comfort
Our recent visit to Oregano in Williamsburg was a delightful journey through genuine Italian flavors. The meal began on a high note with a Burrata appetizer that was everything you want it to be—creamy, fresh, and perfectly paired with its accompaniments.
The pasta course truly showcased Oregano's commitment to quality. The Chicken Fettuccini was rich and satisfying, while the Pasta Bolognese offered a deeply flavorful, slow-cooked ragu that tasted wonderfully authentic. The star, however, was the Homemade Cavatelli, which possessed a rustic, satisfying chew and a vibrant sauce. It's a clear winner for anyone seeking true Italian comfort food.
Paired with a light and fruit-forward Pinot Noir, the meal flowed beautifully. We capped the experience with desserts that were the perfect sweet finale. From start to finish, the entire menu was spot-on, making Oregano a must-visit for a cozy, gratifying Italian dinner. A true neighborhood gem.

This is not an Italian restaurant. Please, I feel ashamed to imagine someone this is Italian cuisine.

Carbonara is completely different they don't match any ingredients just the pasta maybe.

Pizza is not pizza alla romana nor Napolitano pizza.

Chicken parmigiana? What's is this?

1/5. But please don't call this Italian cuisine. Respect the culture of the world.

Do not eat here. We felt something wasn’t right as it took over 45 minutes to receive simple to make food, in an empty restaurant…
I’m very disappointed in these guys. By far the worst “Italian” I’ve ever been to. Please do not waste your time, you’ll wake up with cold sweats.

Oregano is a hidden gem in Williamsburg!
High quality, home cooked meals that taste like that came fresh out of your nonna’s kitchen! It’s absolutely worth the wait.
I love that they have vegan options.
Backyard is romantic!

Oregano Brooklyn is such a gem, I’ve been going here for years! The vibe is cozy and welcoming, feels like one of those neighborhood spots you immediately want to come back to, especially now that Williamsburg is becoming more commercial, this place is where it’s at.

The staff is genuinely awesome and you can tell there’s real care behind everything here, from the ingredients to the service. The pasta and pizza are always fresh and delicious and the cocktails are so creative. Highly recommend Oregano

This is such a beautiful restaurant, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious. You could tell that the food is fresh and homemade, and it didn’t take long to bring it. The workers are so kind and look like they’re really trying. I also loved the Alice and wonder land theme they had in the back and their logo is funny. 10/10 recommend
