Walked in to buy sashimi in the afternoon and I was blown away by how unprofessional, rude, and entitled the guy was. It's not a cheap place and it's absolutely not worth the price or the service you get.
Go to Samurai Mama, Brooklyn ball factory... Etc there are millions of places you can go.

Closed early for private events without daring updating their schedule. Unfortunate when some would walk half an hour after work to specially go there. But good they’re so sorry about it.

It’s a market as well as a pick up-only restaurant. They have a narrow bench inside where you can wait for your food to be prepared, but it’s not an eat-in establishment, at least when I visited on a weekday afternoon. The sushi was super fresh and delicious - the roe was a good touch and all the veggies were seasoned and/or pickled, yum - though pricey for takeout. I was under the impression that this was an affordable option for sushi in the area but it is not. Paid $32 for this bowl of salmon donburi.I would be back when I feel like treating myself.

Service was good. Wait time was not so bad. I ordered the Hokkaido bento box. The fish quality was mediocre and the taste was extremely fishy and not very tasty. Perhaps it was the end of the day and the fish was from the bottom of the barrel but the taste was definitely off-putting.

We’ve ordered fish for Sashimi and a few other sushi ingredients. Service and delivery were good and helpful. That being said, the fish were mediocre at best. 1/2 lbs himachi was decent. But 1/2 bluefin chutoro (half fatty) was very disappointing. Received in two pieces instead of one. And the fish itself wasn’t fatty at all and had a lot of muscle/strings inside making it not chewable. Not worth the price at all. Overall with 2 pieces of fish including delivery, and 2 tips the requested (for store and for driver) it was over 100$ for really not much. In the photo the sashimi and nigiri I’ve prepared with the fish.

An amazing fish market for sashimi grade fish and more.I usually get 1/4-1/2lbs of sashimi grade sushi along with sushi sets.Everything is always fresh (and full of flavors). Not to mention, people are super friendly

It was my first time here’. My friend invited me and I get to try some major food food.Chef was super nice and friendly. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to his cooking and culture. He explains well when it comes ingredients and when he gets from.I was falling asleep due lack of sleep, chef was nice enough to make a cold brew for me - so I can drive home safely.Worth checking the place out!

Crazy quality sashimi. You can choose the different cuts of the fish that you want (fatty or lean). You buy whole steaks and slice them into sashimi sizes you like later. Minimum order is 1/4 Lbs (~110g). Prices are between $50-90/lb (450g).Yesterday I bought 1/4lb x 3 different fish which was plenty for 2 people and it cost me $50.

Went a Kaiseki tasting. It's my first time dining-in to this place. Five course dishes were quite flavorful and good portion size to me, and I could tell that chefs took time and much effort to those dishes. This kaiseki tasting event can seat up to six guests only at the counter seats, but I like this small yet cozy space where I can be close to the chefs and other guests.Yes, I want to come here again.

Best deal to have sushi to go in Williamsburg! $25 for standard 8 pieces, $30 for deluxe one. Their fish are really good. Always call before you visit this place, they run out very fast.
