I live upstate NY. I had a large braided challah in the freezer for several months. I don't even know who gave it to me. I just thawed it out this week. It is the best challah I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot. WOW
Terrible customer service I don’t know if they have something against non Jewish people.

I visited this bakery with my wife, and unfortunately , our experience was disappointing. We waited at the counter for service but despite multiple staff members being present, no one acknowledged us or offered any assistance. It's frustrating to feel ignored as a customer, especially when simply being acknowledged could have made a difference. Due to this experience, we won't be returning.

It's been a few years since I've come to this bakery. I remember it being good. What I don't remember is how smug and rude and the workers can be. I had to deal with Monica. She literally rolled her eyes at me before I said a word, as if she was doing me a favor. I said I need a box I'm gonna get a lot of pastries. She asks me how many, I said I don't know, just get the box and I'll start filling it. As if I had to have a written list of exactly what I want and browsing is a crime. I needed a second box and she was literally breathed in exasperation like I did something wrong.
Like wow I'm sorry I'm starting your morning by giving you business. I won't be doing it again. Meanwhile, one of the regulars came in, and she immediately says "Good morning moshe!" I guess she assumed i'm not Jewish. I am but shouldn't matter. They don't want new customers. No problem. I won't be back.

The product is very good, but the customer service is really bad, I don't know if it's just for those of us who are not Jewish... those women who serve think they own the bakery, they are so bitter that one is going to order the bread given away... it seems that to work in this place in the customer service area they need to be rude, arrogant and bitter... all the staff need good customer training.

Very discriminatory service. I spent 10 min. Nobody was ready to serve me. Once I stepped away from the cash register, they started to serve the customers behind me.

I'm addicted to the rugelach. It's been a long time since I've been in the area but would always make a special trip here to pick up a box! Last time I did I barely finished my train ride without eating at least half before I even got to my stop. So flaky and tender. I'm up late hungry daydreaming about yummy places I've not been to in forever.
