Ostrovitsky Bakery is a must-visit! Their rugelach (especially chocolate and cinnamon) and babka are rich, flaky, and super fresh — some of the best kosher pastries around. Service is outstanding: friendly, fast, and always welcoming. The shop is simple and no-frills, but the quality makes up for it. Perfect for a quick sweet treat or to stock up!

A great bakery. You will not be disappointed shopping here. Just had a custard donut for the fifth Chanukah candle. I can't praise the experience enough. Just so yummy. My wife likes the jelly donut. Also yummy. Just be aware the pastries and cakes are a little on the sweet side. This is definitely my go to bakery in the Ave J / CIA area.

I was in the neighborhood and decided to try this bakery I have passed by on many occasions but was unable to stop.
I got some C shaped pastry with cheese filling and almonds on top, I don't know the name of it but it was heaven at first bite! It reminded me of a type of pastry I used to eat in Europe bit was never able to find here. It was freshly baked, soft inside flaky outside and the filling was just the right amount of sweet. I loved and savored every bite!!...
