Fantastic bakery in the Clinton Hill area!! The olive sesame house bread was AMAZING and the focaccia is also delicious. Really love the drip coffee and pastries too. They even have a cute greeting card section! Truly a neighborhood gem :)

INCREDIBLE
They had two different kinds of kouign-ammans. Kouigns-amman? Whatever.
It was a mighty struggle to not order the entire menu!

Yet another amazing bakery in Downtown Brooklyn, more specifically in Prospect Heights. The place is small but has pretty hefty variety of savory and sweet backing goods, some of which are pretty unique. I really liked from the savory offering kimchi bun and from the sweets is peach Danish. The croissants are one of the most delicious that I was ever had. Also they have seriously good coffee, I mean like really really good with a bold flavor without being overturned. The place is quite popular so expect some line standing especially in the morning, especially on a weekend. I definitely will be back for more.

Delicious baked goods. They sell out really fast. I wish they made more throughout the day. If you don't show up early, you're almost certainly out of luck.

This place is truly a hidden gem in Brooklyn! The buns, danishes, croissants and crullers are to die for.. Every time I come to Brooklyn to visit family and old friends I stop by this place. Parking is a little tough. Read the signs carefully and be mindful of the no standing signs.. I've been ticketed a couple of times.

Got there shortly after opening on a Wednesday, and especially enjoyed there sesame kouign amman and tomato cheese danish. Everything was tasty and had a nice texture, however! Looking forward to going back for the crullers on the weekend!

I don't know which type it is exactly, but the loaf of bread that I got on Sunday was amazing. Lovely caramelized flavor in the crust, just right chewy crispy, stayed fresh for days. Best bread of the year so far. Half off in the late afternoon.

I’m a regular at this bakery and have always enjoyed their pastries, but lately the quality seems to have declined. Most recently, the Kouign-amann was disappointingly dense and slightly burnt. I hope they take a closer look at quality control before serving items—I’d love to see them return to the high standards they used to maintain.

Otway Bakery is hands-down one of Brooklyn’s best hidden gems. Every pastry I’ve tried has been exceptionally fresh and flavorful—it’s clear they care deeply about quality. The crullers alone are worth the trip (seriously, if you haven’t had one yet, you’re missing out big time)
Yes, there’s often a line, but it’s well deserved and moves quickly thanks to the warm, friendly staff who always make the wait feel worth it. Otway strikes the perfect balance of neighborhood charm and top-tier baking. Can’t recommend it enough
The best baguette!
Everything I’ve ever had here is 111/10
Another great spot for pastries in an area with a lot of competition. I love their baguette sandwiches, as well as their croissants.
Great neighborhood cafe. Croissants I ate fresh baked. And the baguette is very nice. I would come back for that.
This spot is small with just a few high chair. They aren’t that busy after 2pm and it’s a good spot to meet friend.
Friendly service.
