I was looking for a spot to get some good food,preferably take-out and a friend of mine suggested this place as it was very close to home.I ordered the lamb chops and mashed potatoes. My order was $39 which I had absolutely no problem paying.When the bartender brought my order out I was in total disbelief. It was like a mini order from golden krust and they didn't even give any utensils. Support black businesses they say,smh.It was my first time there and definitely my last as well.Oh btw,as for taste I give it a 3 out of 10.

Visited for the soca event they had last night 22NOV. They sat us (a party of four) all the way in Timbuktu although there were other tables available.Additionally, the tables and chairs were not cleaned before they sat us down. I noticed some white stuff on the table and chairs but didn’t really pay it any mind and wiped it down with tissue before I sat down.While eating (honey buffalo wings) something (wet Sheetrock) fell from the ceiling and possibly into my plate. (It was hard to really see with the lights) I looked up and saw what must’ve been the effect of heavy rain from the night prior.I also did not like the fact that there’s an automatic 18% gratuity charge. I would’ve left and went somewhere else but my cousin is visiting from foreign and we had already drove 1hr 30mins to meet her friends in Brooklyn.

So I went to oui on Tuesday, on their site it says happy hour all Tuesday but I wasn’t charged a happy hour price for my drink maybe I order something that wasn’t on the happy hour menu. It took 20 mins for me to get 1 drink then another 20 mins to get my hookah that has a broken pipe and wasn’t even pulling good at all so it took 40 mins, and they were not short staffed and it wasn’t packed this place has potential but the workers need some training obviously. The vibe inside besides the service is really good. The music was entirely too LOUD and I don’t mind loud music but it will have your ears ringing while inside, the music is loud enough for an outdoor festival.

It was my friend's birthday, we heard Oui was lit we checked it out eventhough Google said closing was at 12. I stayed for a few hours and had the most fun I've had at any lounge in a while. Nuff vibes!

Upon walking into Oui I liked the decor and flow of the space. It's definitely a relaxed cocktail lounge and a good place to meet up with friends after work.. not recommended for kids however. I ordered the fried calamari which came out fast and tasted good. After finishing our drinks and appetizers we were waiting to place our food order for about 20 minutes. I think they were short staffed that day. For our Main course we ordered fish and chips (truffle fries) and the lamb chops. Lamb chops were good, fish was a bit salty and they may have forgotten to add the truffle to the fries. Drinks were good. Had the rum punch which was part of their happy hour.
The food is great, the service needs to improve. We were attended to when first sat down, the food and first round of drinks came out in a timely manner. After that the server never came back, we could have walked if we dishonest and not paid. I hope the service improves because the food was great.

Went to have a drink at the bar , the bartender charge us for 2 drinks Long Island ice tea $50, a 18% tip. I can understand if we were at a table and they included tip but since when do they included a 18% tip when ordering a drink from the bar. Needless to say I will not be going back there again.

1st time: it was really good , although it was packed with a lot of people : food was good, service was good and our waiter (I forgot his name) but he was very attentive (8/10 - which is good enough for me to visit a restaurant a 2nd time)2nd time : Seated immediately, however it took 20 minutes after seating for a waiter to give us any attention (being that I had to flag someone down to ask for a waiter) , food and drinks were served with no napkins and utensils (again I had to flag someone down) . Lastly, a cocktail was ordered however, they ran out of ingredients to make it, which then our waiter or hostess or whoever I was talking to made a suggestion to get another “similar” cocktail - it was not similar at all. It was taken back to bar and instead of changing the drink completely, they added juice to fix the drink that we originally did not like. At this point, my friends and I were frustrated and just wanted to leave. The manager Michelle did her very best to try to rectify the situation (she did take the drink off the bill) but all in all the 18% added gratuity was not paid happily - if it was up to us we would have not paid gratuity because it was not deserved, which is really disappointing being that it’s in the neighborhood but things like this is why I go to the city for good service… 5/10 (The food and Michelle is what’s saving this place)
