I have to say this restaurant was absolutely delicious!! So glad we tried the only Mexican Michelin star in New York!!!
We went here for our anniversary and were very pleased! Our reservation was for 9 and our table was ready exactly at that time. Service was fantastic! Our waiter was really friendly and very knowledgeable about all the food items. He answered all of our questions about flavors and portion sizes quite thoroughly which made our decisions easy!
Their tequila and mezcal varieties were very extensive and they had great cocktail options as well! For appetizers we decided to choose the smoked mangoes, tuna tostada, and the punta verde caesar. All were so tasty and had such amazing flavor, we even ordered another tuna tostada!! I would say we felt the mangoes were more of a snack/dessert and not an app but we were not mad about it at all because the smokiness they were able to get into the mangoes was amazing!
For the main course we went with the lamb and swordfish tacos (it comes with 2 each). They are average sized, nothing too big or small especially since we ordered so many appetizers between the two of us!! Both dishes were so flavorful!! I would highly recommend trying everything you have room for since the choices we made were bursting with so much flavor!
We chose the Oaxacan chocolate cake and the tres leches for dessert. The cake and ice cream had a strong espresso flavor, maybe because I don't drink any coffee/espresso at all but it was still very tasty.
Overall this was a very affordable Michelin Star restaurant and we were extremely pleased with every aspect of our dining experience. We would absolutely return to try more menu items and highly recommend paying them a visit if you are a fan of big, bold flavors!!
(The photos are not great sorry.)

This brunch was among the best Mexican food experiences I had in NYC. All the flavors were spot on, and the drinks were on par with the food. I was skeptical about what to expect at a Michelin-starred Mexican restaurant and got a very nice surprise. The menu has a decent amount of choice (from lighter bites like chips and guac to a more filling elevated burrito), while offering quality ingredients and a modern touch on classical dishes. The ambiance felt casual with a touch of chic, while still welcoming you to enjoy comforting Mexican food.
Dietary restrictions: Accommodating to gluten-free diets from 2 members of our party. Knowledgeable staff on food allergies.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out, this Mexican gem checks all the boxes. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant yet cozy ambiance set the tone—warm lighting, tasteful decor, and lively music without being overpowering.
The service? Impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu without being overbearing. They made great recommendations, especially when it came to cocktails.
Speaking of cocktails—this place nails it. From smoky mezcal mixes to refreshing margaritas with a twist, every drink was balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. You can tell they put real thought into their cocktail list, and it’s a true highlight of the experience.
The food was equally impressive—bold, authentic flavors with a modern touch. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything arrived hot and fresh.
Highly recommend for date nights, gatherings with friends, or just treating yourself to a fantastic meal and drink. Can’t wait to come back!

I walked in randomly on a Saturday night, after seeing reviews on TikTok. I wasn’t sure if I would get a table but I thought why not try. I was greeted by Edith and she had the best energy, she was so welcoming and inviting and provided the best services ever. She turned my solo date into the best dining experience. The cocktails were amazing and food was great as well. I never leave reviews but I had to because of how positive of an experience it was. I now have to come back with friends! Special shout out to Edith 🩷

The best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever tried. The best tacos that I’ve ever tried. I got a reservation at 11 AM on a Saturday morning and was pleased to see how beautiful the inside of the restaurant was. The service was good and the menu was plentiful with different tasty options. We got the black sesame Horchata which was amazing, the fresca drink was a bit too tart for me. The guac and chips was amazing! Lots of different flavors and great quality of ingredients. The flank steak tacos were out of this world, so juicy it melted in my mouth. It reminded me of KBBQ. The flavors packed a punch as there was some spice. The pork tacos were better than expected, I was expected it to be dry at some parts but no, it was juicy and the guac along with the other toppings made it whole. Highly recommend this place and would come back!

We celebrated a friend's birthday lunch. It's a beautiful space with lots of natural light.
The waiter was a very experienced and ingratiating.
The food was tasty but small for the price. The guacamole was beautifully presented and delicious. My friend enjoyed her chilaquiles. It was the most generous dish.
The small, single tuna tostada ($27) looked lonely. I don't think I saw any radish on it and the smidgen of guacamole underneath was a bit insulting. We had the highly recommended steak tacos. They had a nice flavor by two small tacos for $26 stung. Plus, they were very greasy.
The potatoes bravas were fine but there was nothing special about them.
The waiter was very sweet to bring over some acquafresca with a candle since we didn't have dessert.
The extra points here are for the service for sure!

We came here on a Saturday with no res, we were 4th or 5th in line at 5:20 and it opens at 5:30. We got a bar seat or could have eaten in the covered outdoor area.
The drinks are fun they have a frozen margarita, I got a regular one. Get the salsa, it’s so fun because you get to try like 7 kinds of salsa. Get rotisserie chicken it’s brined in honey and spices, baked and fried. Comes with this yummy charred rice and you can make tacos with it. The chocolate cake with espresso icecream is the bell of the ball! Amazing experience beautiful vibes and the bartender was hilarious!

Oxomoco sizzles!!!!!! Wood-fired Mexican with vibrant flavors. Guac is out of control, tacos and desserts are divine. Good wine and lively vibe with quesadillas on the kids menu. A must-try.
Kid-friendliness: Quesadillas come with beans and avocado.

Amazing food, unpretentious, and a great atmosphere. We’ll be coming back as soon as possible! We got the pollo a las brazas, soya tuna tostada, and guacamole. All were excellent. The cocktails were well balanced and delicious.

Honestly, for the price of the food, I did not really enjoy my experience. I a shared a few dishes and the best that I had was rhe swordfish tacos. The salad was tasty and smoky, but the form factor was lacking. The eighty something dollar steak dish was cooked well but seasoned poorly and the dish lacked cohesion. The tortilla masked all flavor and the potatoes were at that stage of potato where its cooked, but is kinda uninteresting in texture and not roasted enough to have a maillard reaction. The portions were also so small, so I left hungry. It had its michelin star on the wall but I'm not exacrly sure it deserves it. For this price point, the portion sizes, and the hit or miss flavors, I do not recommend. One of those has to change for this to be worth going to.

Beautiful restaurant and overall good food as well, a few things I recommend would be: smoked mangos, tuna tartare tostadas (Asian fusion), fried shrimp tacos, and the chicken.
Tbh the desserts were a little disappointing but the overall dining experience was good.

I failed to take a photo, but it had a really nice Mexican atmosphere. I think it even has a Michelin star.
All of the food was delicious, but the best part was that the sauce on the meat seemed to have 100 different spices in it.

Joined for brunch for the first time and food is amazing. Extremely flavorful tacos. We got the charred beet ones and lamb ones, both sooo good and the lamb ones were fire. The potato dish was good but nothing special either. Will definitely come back and try dinner as well.
