Whewwwwweee did I enjoy myself!
First of all, it's gorgeous, so sunshine-y and green. We sat at the bar and the service was great. We ordered the cantaloupe slushies and they were so, so good! They weren't overly strong + they mix them themselves, just a few ingredients. The guac was a little small but delicious. The pork tacos were pretty expensive for 2, I thought, until I tasted them. WOW, so good. We were so busy catching up, we didn't realize they'd closed to get ready for dinner. They emphasized we hadn't overstayed our welcome, we could stay as long as we needed. And the disco-themed restroom + playlist? Excellente

Oxomoco is a Michelin-starred gem in Greenpoint that truly delivers on flavor and atmosphere. The space is beautiful and welcoming, and the food lives up to its reputation. Ended the meal with the chocolate cake for dessert – rich, moist, and absolutely delicious. A great spot for a special night out.

Service, atmosphere and most importantly food was spot on! We had the chips and salsa, catch of the day tacos and their special which was red snapper tacos that was a shareable. Everything was seasoned and cooked beautifully. We will definitely be back!

Have been here twice over the years and absolutely loved it - though I will say a few things have been cycled out of the menu though I imagine the new additions are just as delightful. I would highly recommend the caesar salad as the lettuce is perfectly crunchy, the dressing tart and punchy, and the crumbs on top add just the right texture. The tuna tostada and pollo a las brazas are both great. I've had two different tlayudas - both great though not sure which they have available now. ALSO, the salsas are wicked spicy though a wonderful topping to a the extra crispy totopos. I'll definitely have to come back soon but would highly recommend! Also, the chocolate cake is divine!

Really great guacamole, smoked mango, swordfish, lamb, and crab. The nopalito was bonb must try. I went pre fire so the menu was a bit different. Also got the other frozen drink and tuna tostada. It was also good but not as good as everything else. We got two nopalito it’s refreshing and spicy and perfect. Guac was so complex just not enough chips for me lol. Great dinner. And staff was quite accommodating
Went to the reopening of Oxomoco the other night after being closed due a fire in their ventilation system. They are doing a seafood forward popup now until they can get the wood grill up and running and fully reopen, but I love this new menu! Great opportunity to try new dishes and some new vibes from one of my favorite kitchens

Went for dinner and was not very impressed. Especially at this price point…for tacos. It nothing special and in some cases (the mushroom taco for example) downright bad. I’ve had better at Mexican taco trucks. Frozen drinks were fun and tasty tho.

This is my favorite Mexican in NYC. Stellar food, impecable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff… menu changes with seasons… what more can I say?! You must try this spot… coming from Tijuana the Caesar salad here is the best take on it, get the salsas & get their chocolate mousse deliciousness… Oxomoco fam, los amo!!!

Came here for dinner recently on an early Sunday night. It was a bit of a hassle getting a table without a reservation, though I think the hostess on duty was new. We split the tostada and guac (excellent), papas bravas (excellent), Caesar salad (ok), soy tuna tostada (excellent), swordfish tacos (excellent), lamb barbacoa tacos (very good) and wagyu bavette (basically a DIY taco situation, very good). Service was fine. The interior is beautiful. Honestly our initial reaction collectively afterwards was surprise they had a Michelin star. It was a very good meal but didn’t feel like a great value for the money.

The only reason for my low rating was the food. The service and atmosphere were good. But the food was just average. The tacos were just nicely prepared from an aesthetic perspective (trying to have that Michelin look) but the taste was simply average. Drinks were also normal, not bad but definitely not amazing. All these reviews are very misleading. I went here just because it has a Michelin star and amazing reviews but my experience was just average. And on top of everything we arrived 10 mins earlier and were told to just wait outside. We weren’t able to get a drink at the bar because the bar seats were for people without a reservation. That wasn’t very “Michelin” of them.

Service and atmosphere are top notch. The food was amazing. I enjoyed the steak tacos that were cooked to perfection and loaded with flavor. The salsa flight was very nice, and my favorite bite of the year was the caviar tuna tartare. Wow so so so good. Also their take on the mezcal espresso martini was the best I’ve ever had.
