I am appalled how this restaurant got Michelin one star rating. To start we ordered with Tuna Tostada, followed by Flank steak taco and Beef cheek. I think street food in Mexico City more delicious and tasty than the food we ate not to mention the price we paid.

Oxomoco nails the balance: high-quality, adventurous Mexican food in a relaxed but stylish setting, topped off with great service and a bathroom that might just become the highlight of your day. Whether you’re there for a special day or just a fun trip with friends, this place delivers — and then surprises you, in the best way.
I came here for my birthday and was quite underwhelmed with the food and service. Going to a Michelin star restaurant I had high expectations. The spicy marg was pretty bland and the 'elevated' food was unremarkable. Besides the tuna tostada, the caesar salad and pork carnitas were not at all interesting. The service was also mid - our waiter didn't check in much and told us we could only use small plates, only for another server to bring us larger ones. The experience does not justify the cost.

Awesome Mexican in Greenpoint. Amazing presentation and great flavor to all dishes. The pancake is crazy good, carne asada and maitake mushroom tacos were delicious. Great tuna tostada and the beet tostada is one of the best bites on the menu. Highly recommend.

It may have been the best Mexican food I’ve ever had
The vegetarian dishes were insane
You must get the chips and salsa and use the different salsas throughout the meal

WOW—is all I can say! Probably the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. We were an hour early to our dinner reservation and the kindly sat us. Immediately our waitress asked for our dietary restrictions and allergies and she talked us through the menu and was so knowledgeable. For drinks we had a guava mezcal margarita and the frozen IXMAND which were both super yummy. The guacamole and pink moon oysters were so fresh and delicious with every bite. We then had the beef tartar tostada which was my favorite and the carne asada platos. The service, atmosphere, all
the flavors were absolutely Phenomenal we will be back!

The food was good but the portion size was minuscule for the price. Our server was attentive. The place was very busy, not a relaxed atmosphere, kind of felt a rush from when we got arrived.

Honestly just go somewhere else. Not worth the price nor was the food that good. Looks like the Aguachile changes from time to time but whichever one we got with leeks and green apple was the most bland, flavorless dish ive ever had. Partner liked the nori chip, I didn’t.
He said that was the only good thing of the dish. Portion size was very small and it was $35 (came with two large chips). Then we got the Taco Arabe, the amount of meat on the taco was good but $29 for two tacos just doesn’t sit right. It was decent but definitely not worth the price. Save your money and go somewhere else for a 1/3 of the price that tastes way better.

35 dollars for the most muted aguachile is criminal. And then 25 dollars for two tacos with the chewiest flank steak. Tortillas are good though.
Overall super mid. If you want well priced Mexican food, mariscos submarino is just a few blocks away and will be 1/3 of the price.

My wife and I have been here a bunch of times and I can’t believe I never left a review.
This is our go to place for Mexican food. Every time we have been here the service is top notch and the food is beyond delicious. You definitely have to try this place for brunch or dinner.
