Cocktails are incredible. Service is unmatched. Space is gorgeous. And yes, their employees are paid fairly. I own a cocktail bar in the neighborhood and know that someone has targeted them (along with their friends) with a series of unfair reviews. Ironically, they seem to not realize how this affects a business and in turn how much money is made by those who work at said business. I do not believe that recent bad reviews have been made in good faith. Anyone who’s been here knows it’s fantastic :)

Palmetto is an exquisitely conceived and run cocktail bar. It's friendly and unpretentious yet at the same time stylish and chic. The cocktails are inventive and delicious and the staff is especially warm and welcoming. A beautiful spot for a drink (and snacks!) with friends.

The waitstaff here are very rude and unwelcoming. Would not come back here again. Plenty of other wine bars in the area to choose from.

Horrible in every aspect, do not waste your money here. There are plenty of other places to go that you will be sooooo much more satisfied with.

It's all bad here. I will never to back. The service was awful and the staff was rude. I went recently and got a couple cocktails with my husband. They were so watered down and overpriced. Their "snacks" are comically overpriced (even for NYC) standards. If you want cheese and crackers out of a box for $18, this is the place for you. Don't go. Just don't.

A paradise at the very heart of Bushwick.I’ve had the pleasure of being a guest of Palmetto’s since they opened on Valentine’s Day 2020. A carefully thought-of design and decoration that reminisces of Italy and the Amalfi Coast as well hints of old record shops on the walls, and greenery that would make every plant person jealous, Palmetto was definitely here to stay. Walking in felt like magic and like home… little did we know the world would kind of fall apart exactly a month later and we would all be homebound with no end in sight. Part of me felt very sad at the thought of Palmetto going out of business due to the pandemic, yet it thrived; and it’s heart kept beating and pumping blood to both it’s guests and the community around the bar as they made sure they campaigned for the ones in most need and continued to tighten bonds around them and us.Fast forward to today, Palmetto has remained a place where I walk in eager to see people who have by now become friends, and introduce new friends to such a fabulous spot. Every single cocktail has been meticulously crafted by the team of incredible mixologists and owners to bring you into a world that they are continuously creating and reinventing for you, for your senses; and you feel welcome! Natural wine definitely does not go amiss in this gorgeous bar and the selection is always most exciting and appealing… pair wine or cocktails with their olives (potentially the best I’ve ever had in all of New York City) or a cheese board or any of the other bar snacks that they offer and you’re in for a little treat. The music plays a pivotal component to the atmosphere and everyone’s invited to be a part of it. Whether a fantastically curated playlist of the wonderful set of DJs invited to play many nights at Palmetto, you’re bound to be immersed in an experience; one that is crafted for us, the guests. I say it again, it makes me feel welcome and appreciated. All this wouldn’t be even remotely as good if Palmetto didn’t have the right staff, I could maybe exaggerate and say perfect staff. But I’ll settle for dream staff, or dream team. Every bartender or server I’ve ever interacted with, whether they gave me a smile and a cocktail (since they were probably in the weeds trying to whip out tons of orders) or whether they gave me a long convo and human connection has been a really lovely human with a big heart. That is what makes any place within the service industry what it is: it’s people. You could be having the best cocktail in the best bar in the whole world; every single condition could be ideal, and yet, if the company around you (in this case the staff, since your friends are on you) was bleh or meh, then that cocktail would maybe not taste as good, the environment would maybe not be as memorable. And here… they are (I may or may not be intentionally quoting Nicole Kidman’s AMC Theatres promo here). As you can tell, I have nothing but praise for Palmetto, and rightly so. They have all earned it. It feels to me they’ve worked so incredibly hard over the years (who knows how many it actually took them to open up the place) that it almost goes unnoticed because it is so smooth. And that is ultimately what the service industry is about. As a former service industry worker, I can vouch for that.So please, if you’re in Bushwick and feel like taking a trip to a different little island (it actually flooded a couple years back during the most intense déluge New York has seen in a while), do yourself a favor and come to Palmetto. They will take care of you!

I’ve been going to Palmetto since they opened in February 2020! I cannot say enough about what a great place to go and see really outstanding people have a cocktail and enjoy each other’s company. The management team and the staff are stellar and second to none. The cocktails are innovative and delicious. Every time I go, I know that I will always have great conversations with all the amazing people that work there, and with a person I happen to meet that evening. I look forward to visiting New York/Brooklyn again real soon and I will always find time to stop by Palmetto for a fabulous cocktail and great people to meet and talk with. Enjoy the pictures take throughout the years at Palmetto.

Lovely big open neighborhood bar with excellent cocktails and natural wine. Almost feels like you're in Miami but no you're definitely in Bushwick. You can find an intimate nook for two or go with a crew of friends and it'll be equally enjoyable, all depending on your needs that night. Liz and Blake took very good care of us for a party of about 30 people in the back section and provided beautiful platters of charcuterie to go with the endless supply of crisp, cold wine, negronis and martinis.

If you're looking for an intimate, well-run bar with great cocktails and an atmosphere that whisks you away to a tropical land, then look no further than Palmetto in the heart of Bushwick. It's always an unassuming atmosphere where you can enjoy a great lager, some funky natural wine, or a mixologist's delightful concoction. The music selection always seems to capture the mood of the evening and is very thoughtfully planned out. And the staff is consistently some of the nicest people I've had serve me drinks in NYC. A true Brooklyn gem!

One of the best cocktail bars in Brooklyn. The attention to every little detail is seen and felt wholeheartedly. The dynamic and approachable cocktail menu with NA offerings is one of the most fun and inclusive i have experienced in a long time. The wine list offers a little something to everyone and if you need help deciding the staff is always more than willing to chime in.A stunningly beautiful space with a beautiful sound system and lovely flowers. It is a treat every time I walk through the doors.

My first impression of Palmetto was that it was cute. It’s so much more! The staff is warm, kind, and inviting. The drinks are unique, incredibly well-thought and perfectly done. The atmosphere is a rare find in Bk and delightful. I travel quite a distance to visit Palmetto. You should too…you won’t be disappointed.
