All for supporting local restaurants! The restaurant itself is pretty small and I was there on the weekday - so it wasn't too busy, manageable for one server. The food was good, and the service was great.
We have been coming here for years and it is consistently my favorite restaurant in NYC. We have tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed; I have dreams of their food and sangria. The staff is always so welcoming and Amazing and the prices are great. 5 stars!
Food and drinks were very good and fairly priced, and the menu was vegan friendly. The staff were great and the establishment has a great atmosphere.
Most Horrible & Disgusting food! Threw out whole order made through Uber Eats! I cannot believe this restaurant sent me two orders full of chicken fat and inedible chicken parts and call it chicken fajita. This is disrespectful! As a restaurant you need to uphold your standards for what is edible and what is not.$60 dollars spent on garbage! Take a look at the picture yourself and see if that looks like edible and good chicken fajita?DISGUSTING! I will never in my life go back to this restaurant again! The worse food I have had delivered in my life!
The vibe. The food. The drinks. Everything is AMAZING!! I've been trying to find a good Mexican restaurant for months and this place did not disappoint. I had the steak fajita. The steak was seasoned. The rice was PERFECT. The peppers & onions cooked to perfection. I LOVED it, one of the best fajitas I've had in a very long time. Definitely will be back to try EVERYTHING on the menu. Corn on the cob I could have ate 3 of them...AMAZING!!! Our waiter was very polite and answered all our questions. He checked on us without being over bearing (I hate that). I like to eat in peace and not have someone hovering over me. My new favorite spot.
Absolutely incredible food and amazing staff. We will definitely be coming back!
Very disappointing. - The food was really good. The meats were nice and tender. I was really excited to see this type of Mexican food in NY. However, super salty. Like why?! And the service was among the worst I’ve had in NY. Looked like it was the owner. But he looked like he had no soul left in him. Didn’t look at us, hardly spoke, was just BAD ENERGY.
Paloma’s was great when they first opened however after quarantine prices went way up and food is no longer hot and tasty. They now charge $7 for chips n salsa , tables are super sticky makes sitting there uncomfortable, Margaritas are bland, and the server is a bit excessive with the name calling “my sweet baby” “my lovely lady” “my beautiful lady at the corner of the table” just too much.I also asked for a side of avocado and they don’t do that unless it’s their full side of stuffed avocado.Avocado fries are nasty.
A fabulous dinner and margaritas. Best Tacos Pastor I have had since Mexico City. The best was service and the manager Fernando was so welcoming and attentive.. Will come back for sure!
the food and service was good but they don't have a full bar for cocktails.
Restaurantji Recommends
I just think it’s just ok… wouldn’t come back :/
Palomas is a go-to spot for me and my partner. Their food is great. The service is great when you dine in. The food travels well for delivery or pick up. I find it super filling. I rarely finish the rice and beans that come with my entrees. The margaritas are solid. This place is simple, but friendly and so tasty. Would highly recommend.
Im absolutely infuriated with the price of the burrito. It is literally 3 inches by 3 inches and it only has rice and beans and some lettuce. The chicken is chewy and hard. If you feel like throwing away 15 dollars you can go ahead and buy a chicken burrito. I cant believe this place doesnt have a lower rating. Do not get a burrito from this place.seriously you’ll regret it
Extremely over priced. A $16 steak burrito that's smaller than the many cheaper burritos around here, with so little guacamole and pico de gallo that I thought they had forgotten to put in in my takeout box. I called them up, and turns out the guac and pico de gallo was in the salad (I legitimately thought I had eaten a lettuce salad... it looked like their online photo minus the stuff on the top). They even forgot to add the beans in my burrito. The woman working there is super friendly and the steak they used was pretty decent. But a nice worker and a decent ingredient doesn't cut it when you're overcharging so much / skimping out so much on other things.
Tiny burrito for the price. And it's square, never seen a square burrito before. They said they put everything in it but there was no onions no cilantro no pico de gallo just rice beans and chicken. For 15 bucks. No beans no rice on the side. If it was a $7 burrito I'd say hey par for the course but for 15 bucks that's the price of an entree at a decent dinner place.Plus I always say you can absolutely judge the Mexican place by their salsa. It's all in the salsa and especially the salsa selection. No pico de gallo. No Chipotle. Just a sad watery salsa. Overall a totally underwhelming experience.Nice people but absolutely not a standard for the prices they are charging.
