Good bread

Ordered two blackcakes for the holidays along with a few loaves of butter-bread. The cake was EXCELLENT and so was the bread. Truly homemade.

Dietary restrictions: When told of my allergies, we were told they prep, cook, bake, and serve in an environment that fosters good allergy, culinary, and sanitary practices... and avoidance of cross contamination.

Parking: There is ample and affordable paid street parking. The streets are very busy, depending on the day and time of your visit. It is a safe area and environment.

I haven't had Pam's in a few years, I left during the pandemic, I was visiting nyc and I had to go get some of my favorite things, I didn't get to get all because it was still early in the morning but I got a butter bread, fudge, beef patties and bake and saltfish and it was still as good as I remembered, the only disappointment I had was I didn't get cook up and black pudding, but I'll time my next trip right.

This place is good for a quick bite to eat.
One of my favorite menu items is their porridge.
Definitely have me coming back every time.

The only reason this restaurant gets a 4 star is because you can't make a purchase with your card for under 10 dollars. And my porridge is less than 10 dollars.
Either I have to walk w cash
Or buy extra..

Please check your order before you leave the store. Today I visited Pam's Bakery after traveling a long distance to get there. The lady behind the counter looked confused when looking at my receipt and even remarked that she was uncertain about what I had ordered. I guess that should have been my clue that my order would be messed up. Sure enough, it was. I arrived home with my order minus the pine tarts and fish cakes I paid for. Get it together guys and respect the idea that your customers choose to patronize your business with their hard - earned money so the least you could do is give them what they paid for.

The butter bread and bake are always good and fresh!! Very nicely priced as well. Always coming back for more! Love the atmosphere and service too!

Went to Pam’s for a bit of the Guyanese flavor, and the huge negative is they don’t give you a receipt. There’s no pricing system to tell you the cost of most items except for little paper bits attached outside the case of pastries. Unacceptable for such a well known company that does so much business.
