I really enjoy their half off deal everything on Wednesdays after noon. Their coffees are great, but I’m honestly there for their vegan croissants. They’re the best I’ve had in NYC and they’re quite rare. I really appreciate them.

Dietary restrictions: I’ve seen 3 vegan croissant options — plain, chocolate, and blueberry.

Charging $8 for watery premade chai from a carton should be illegal.

Typical Brooklyn coffee shop: Over-priced coffee and rude staff. I don’t know what version of the manager some of these 5 star reviews are getting (probably friends) but I’ve tried this place multiple times bc it’s one of the few in the neighborhood and everytime he’s been there it’s been a very rude and unpleasant experience. Won’t be going back. If you’re in the neighborhood, Der Pioneer is far better.

I originally avoided this place for a while, as it was a chain replacing a small, one-off business, but I quickly realized I was missing a gem. Great, calm atmosphere that matches the one of the late Parade Café. Feels local and the staff is very nice, with delicious pastries and sandwiches.

Vegetarian options: Great selection of pastries.

Parking: Classic Brooklyn street parking, nothing special. Honestly, if you need to drive to reach this place, just go somewhere closer. There might even be another Poetica closer to you!

Quick in and out cute coffee shop with some seating. I had an egg and scallion pierogi and didn’t really like but they have other pastries and macarons that looked delicious.

I recently visited this coffee house, and I must say, it left quite an impression! The coffee was incredibly tasty, with a rich and bold flavor that hit all the right notes. But what truly sets this place apart is its unusual interior. A perfect spot to savor a cup of coffee while surrounded by creativity. Highly recommended!

Very cute space with friendly service. The cappuccino and breakfast item (leek and Parmesan) was delicious. I will definitely be making this a regular stop when I’m in the area.

This is a smaller but nice coffee shop with very good vibes. Good WiFi. The nearby location on Prospect Avenue, however, seems to have a bigger drinks menu and food options along with more space and nice outdoor seating.
