Tamales went from $1.25 to $2.25 and now $3 for one piece. Whole chicken went from $18 to $25, prices increased 30-50% in a year or two (feel like they’re just pulling these prices out of their 🍑) Tacos were 3 for $10 and are now 3pc for $15 (even more expensive than some spots in city) Service was a quick in and out with no wait! There’s cheaper spots with bigger portions nearby. I’ve learned my lesson to ask for the price before ordering and getting shocked with their price increases

I’m from Los Angeles but now live in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn. I was losing hope for finding good Mexican food in my neighborhood and the surrounding areas until I found this place this morning. I ordered chilaquiles with meat and eggs to go and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. First of all everything was delicious, second it was spicy just the way I like it and third the portion size was large, they are not stingy with ingredients at this restaurant. As for the service, I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in, which took me by surprise because many restaurants don’t do that or if they do they don’t look happy. The girl who took my order was patient with my horrible Spanish and was very friendly. It’s a small place but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for with good food and good service. I wasn’t pressured to hurry and make up my mind while deciding what I wanted and it was made fast . This will be my new regular spot.

A few months they were good but now they are amazing everything has changed employees ,food etc I 1000% recommended for you to stop by and enjoy their food it’s so Mexican authentic realll food straight from Mexico 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽!!!

How is this place even operating is beyond me. Btw the workers are miserable. Don’t follow instructions and act as if the customers are asking for free food.
The tacos 🌮 have more tortillas than cilantro, onion and meat, very expensive, 5 dollars each and the place is very empty.

The food here was always good whenever I went at night… but let me tell you, I decided to go today 08/11/2024 and both the guy and woman had a stink face as soon as we walked in, they didn’t even greet us! However, I ignored that because I wasn’t expecting them to mess up my order the way they did!
They literally gave me chicken only when I specifically asked for (beans, rice and chicken!) However, we had an argument and they fixed it with the additional cost of course! But the lady brought stale rice and dried up beans! Bad Service and Bad Food over all! If you’re gonna go here go at night! The day staff is RUDE and serves stale food when they don’t get it right the first time!!!

If I can give it 0 STARS ⭐️, I would but I ordered 2 burritos and 2 hibiscus juice. I specifically and simply said 2 times. To give me 1 burrito that has grilled meat and to not add tomatoes and jalapeños.. I said TWO TIMES in Spanish as well NO ME LE PONE TOMATES ? y JALAPEÑOS en mi burrito, y esos pinches pendejos me le pusieron. They still put tomatoes and jalapeños in my burrito, that young girl they have there doesn't give the cook simple instructions and ignores what I said. Then I ordered a chicken burrito and it was meh, not great. 80% of both of my burritos have mostly rice in them. WHERE wheres the meat, wheres the beans, wheres the chopped lettuces, wheres the cheese & OR sour cream, wheres the avocado or guacamole in it. Their burritos suck. And the drinks, jugo de jamaica, no sabor y le echan mucha agua, aka (Hibiscus iced tea) barely taste good and mostly tastes like water. Deben de cerrar el negocio a esos pinches, they should close their business. Oh and they let a homeless man walk in and give him free food. Which I guess was generous but they probably even gave the homeless man probably old food and allow him to go in the restaurant.
