The food is home made. Its delicious. Simple and humble place with amazing food. Its not your deluxe restaurant but it does the job. I am a medical student who lived in the area for almost 2 years. Today I am leaving the area. It feels sad but Thank you to this restaurant for serving me all this time. Love the tacos, enchilada platter, fresh orange juice… loved it.
My children love this place, they love their food, the food is always fresh and always freshly made and it is always delicious and the people who work there are always nice and always helpful.

Paraiso Azteca is just so super duper lovely. Despite immense competition in Mexican fare, including literally across the street from an unnamed far newer vendor, Paraiso is a neighborhood institution which always delivers no matter core Mexican fare or newer fare like breakfast (a recent trend among Hispanic places) or American stalwarts (beefsteaks, sandwiches, etc. sort of bodega-like). Their core of Mexican fare is wholesome with ingredients visibly procured with local care...
