Park Slope Ale House is a cozy and comfortable neighborhood spot. The burger, fries, and hey jealousy cocktail remain popular choices. The recent owner transitions have brought positive changes, with elevated pub fare and excellent service. It's the perfect place to unwind with great drinks, food, and friendly staff.
The place has an old school/pub atmosphere and nice outdoor seating. The service is great. The fried dishes, such as onion rings, fried pickles, and chicken wings, are outstanding. The onion rings are light and fluffy, the fried pickles are crispy with the right proportion of batter to pickle, and the chicken wings are crispy and juicy. The burger is just okay, but the fried chicken sandwich tastes incredibly fresh.
This place is a breath of fresh air, with a comfortable bar, good food, and TVs, which is apparently a novel thing for the area. The Guinness is great, and there are tons of classic bar food choices for when you go to watch a game. The cocktails are also well-made.
