Greek diners are supposed to serve food fast. I’m here 30 minutes….still no food. And nobody offered to replenish our drinks. Just a few diners so no excuses.

Use to be a decent place to eat but the service went down hill after change of management and they had the gall to charge me 18% gratuity like if I were in a fancy restaurant and ask for additional tip. I was hell NO!!! Never will I go back I told them but they just looked at me like if I were stingy, I love to tip when the service and food are good but to force an 18% automatically without telling me before I sat to eat was wrong. I told them that 18% cost you a decent customer and a good review. Service really went down hill and so did the diner. ??

One of the last classic Brooklyn Greek diners from the days when everybody ended up at the diner late night after the club.

Parkview, thank you for a great experience! My friend and I were warmly welcomed, looked after by the serving staff and had amazing food - the California omelette and the gyro platter along with the international coffees were so good. Thank you, Parkview. We initially went to Mirage Diner, 717 Kings Highway, Brooklyn, NY 11223 and were racially discriminated against by the maitre d. It was a breath of fresh air to be greeted with courtesy at Parkview Diner. Well done to the owners of this establishment.

Ordered a surf ave burger...i took a bite and it tasted like pure grease. I told the manager and he told me specifically that it was supposed to be greasy and the reason he loves burgers because they are greasy. The burger tasted like it was deep fried and slapped on the bun. Absolutely disgusting then he complained out in the open to the workers. Saying we complained and not to wrap up our food ? like i was going to bring that to my house. It was soooooo gross. The manager isnt friendly and is an absolute prude. Ill stick to bridge view i never get greasy food and the manager i assume is amazing. i never had to meet them. The waiters at Parkview are nice but the manager thinks burgers should be greasy. If you've ever had a good burger like they used to have they should be juicy not greasy. Never in my life have i encountered such ignorance. I told him to enjoy his greasy burgers on the way out. My kid had an omelette she scoffed down. She said it was delicious. Ill stick to bayridge its a shame i grew up a few blocks away from Parkview i waited years for it to reopen. It was good until recently. They stopped caring.

This diner USED to be good. Two days ago I ordered pancakes and came home to discover they nor the bacon was cooked. I understand things happen and people make mistakes, so I let it go. Today I ordered a cheeseburger and it was raw and pink inside, I brought it back and the manager told me it is cooked. Im not sure where he is getting the knowledge that raw pink meat is cooked, but I do not think he belongs managing a diner if this is what he believes. When I asked when the owner would be in he told me "not sure what he is going to do about it". I would hope that he would want to know that his customers are being served food that is not cooked. It is a shame that noone takes pride in their jobs anymore or respects their customers.

This place is great to order delivery from when it's late at night plus it has it's own parking lot so when to come to dine in you can just park your car and go eat, no hassle for looking for a parking spot first. The steak sandwich is great and they make a good burger. Pancakes from here are good. The coffee is amongst the better dinner coffee's in the area. (Most dinners have terrible coffee unless it's the kind you pay extra for).Kid-friendliness: They have a highchair for kids. And the patrons here are typical families. Bringing your kids here is perfectly acceptable and quite commonly done by patrons.
