Best St Josephs in Brooklyn and best marzipan. Ill say the same on the lobster tail as well. Selection is vast and service is friendly to those who havent seen any of this before. Cool little joint too. Clean, balanced and fresh flavors. nothing to heavy and nothing to light.

Really good Italian pastries- not very sweet and just half the price compared to the cakes in Eataly.

I love this place! They have a WIDE variety of sweet treats — certainly something for everyone. I tried their cannolis and it was so delicious. Plus, the woman who assisted me was so kind and friendly! Highly recommend :)

Accidentally took a sfogliatella tour today. Started at Court Street bakery, then one other old school bakery on Court Street, and ended up here. This place was by far the best--more fresh and can actually taste the filling. So yummy, and not expensive despite it being a veey fancy looking shop. Closest to Naples I've found in Brooklyn

A beautiful little Italian bakery! We had a lovely chocolate raspberry cake and a couple of cannoli. Ate them in the park nearby and enjoyed the nice weather. Service was friendly and polite and prices were very reasonable.

First off, Monteleone should actually be a 5 star bakery as everything is always fresh and delicious. However, shrinkflation has caused them to slim down their awesome linzer cookies. The cookies were always quite substantial with a good amount of raspberry filling but suddenly the cookies are so thin that with one bite the cookie falls to pieces. I know things are difficult with the horrible food inflation and businesses are afraid to increase prices but when inflation finally comes under control and food costs are lower please go back to the original linzer recipe.

What a great family run bakery. I was in the neighborhood and really taken back by how good everything looked. I wasn't sure what to do!! The owners daughter who works there, was happy to help. She came around the case and took the time to describe each pastry and what the sellers are and even what she recommended as her favorites ! Great prices and don't forget the espresso on the way out! I will absolutely be back over and over.

Outstanding pastries! Just really wonderful. And the service is friendly and warm. I have also bought birthday cakes here and they will happily customize them for you if you write down what you want. A fave!

Pasticceria extraordinaire. Not a bad pastry in the place. Clean shop and friendly staff. We go no place else for pastries.
