I visited last night and the food was pretty good. My friend and I split the sausage pizza and other friends had pasta and a burger. All were enjoyed. I will note me and my 4 friends were the ONLY table all evening from 7:30-9:30pm which is not pointing to anything good. What’s comical is I couldn’t find a reservation online and had to email the manager who took care of it on her end. I had the managers email from a previous morning I had visited for coffee and a pastry and my server was so visibly sick and coughing everywhere that I had to get another pastry from another worker….. she was finally sent home. Yikes! The manager apologized but that was it.

Such a cute breakfast spot in Prospect Heights. Great for young families. The breakfast skillet is super tasty and filling.

No drip decaf so I got a decaf Americano, unfortunately it was super watered down. The Americano was $3.50 and I paid $5. When I went to pay I was asked if I wanted change. Just please give me the change and I will give the tip!
A solid neighborhood spot. The staff are always so friendly, and they don't mind if you hang around for a while! Also - their "bacon, egg and cheese sando" is better than the well-known shop up the street that specializes in bagels. Yes, I said it!

very nice ppl work here! great service.
unfortunately i found the food to be a bit disappointing. it seems the skillet items on the menu rely an enormous amount on the copious helping of cheese in them as opposed to the three other unsalted ingredients.
Dietary restrictions: they take dietary restrictions seriously!

Sad to see the quality here continuously plummet after going here for years. I hope they find a way to stay in business while bringing back quality ingredients, great service, interesting menu items, and good portion sizes for the price. The new concept says it’s a diner but does succeed on any of the fronts a diner should: food, portion sizes, service, price, and vibe.
Solid food. The pizza is akin to Chicago tavern style. Which is very cool. Since not many places on NYC serve that. Proper square cut slices from a round pie.

The Thanksgiving Pre-Fixe Dinner was delicious, the Turkey, salad, sweet potato pie, cranberry sauce & an amazing Pumpkin Cheesecake. The service & friendly atmosphere were wonderful!!! Good drinks as well.

I ordered delivery from here and when my food arrived the pizza was missing from the order. When I called the restaurant to get it sorted out, I eventually was handed over to speak to the manager (Greg was his name I believe). He was incredibly rude and told me he was going to walk the food over himself, so I told him my apartment number to buzz. He then told me he wouldn’t come up to drop off the food, and when I told him the apartment number was just so he could buzz us to inform us he was here, he got very snappy and told me he was doing me a favor by offering this at all and basically threatened to not do it because he said I was being rude. Though I understand the mistake in not picking up the pizza with the rest of my order wasn’t his fault specifically, he was very unaccommodating and didn’t represent the restaurant well at all. I’ve worked in the food industry and would never speak to a customer the way he spoke to me. The food was average on top of that. I will not be going back here ever.

Wonderful breakfast in Prospect Heights corner cafe. The skillet was a perfect combination of crispy hash browns and fried egg with all the right Greek ingredients. The maple cruller is nothing short of bakery perfection.

I tried calling this restaurant for at least 30 mins to order take out, no one answered. I decided to walk there instead and when I arrived, they told me they were closed. Why was I able to walk in if you decide to close more than 25 minutes before posted closing time? All three employees were incredibly dismissive and claimed they did not speak English & there was no manager on site. When we opted to just leave, they just began talking and laughing at us. Is this how patrons are taught to be treated?? Absolutely unacceptable and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Went here for brunch around 10:30 and was seated immediately. Ordered the pancakes and they were some of the most flavorful/delicious pancakes my friend and I have had. The sides were a bit on the pricey side for the portion, but flavorful. More people arrived midway through our meal, so the service was less prompt - however the team were super friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Definitely would go back again for the pancakes.
