Don't get a salad here. Maybe stick to ordering a burger, if you can eat that. It was THE Saddest wiltiest iceberg -- shitty Caesar dressing--I'd maybe accept it at a roadside diner . But it was rly gross -- and total rip off. At least the fries are good.

Just terrible service today. After the server brought the menus and water outside he never came out to take our order. After like 15-20 minutes, my wife just placed our order. When the food came out there were no napkins given… then once we finished our food the server didn’t comeback outside to give us the bill. I then just walked inside to pay for our meal… Essentially we walked inside 3 separate times for things the server should have done. The food was pretty good though, just terrible service.

Overhyped, but that doesn’t mean it’s not good. The reason to go is really for the beautiful and unique atmosphere 🥰

The food was good. That’s not my complaint.
We made a reservation even tho we went at an off time just because it was a Saturday. Calling later to add a member to our party, we were told they could not accommodate a fifth person, however, when we showed up more than half the restaurant was empty.
This place markets themselves as being family friendly but even thought we arrived at a quiet time when there were maybe three or four other tables occupied, they were out of high chairs. If you want to be considered a hot spot for families, you should really have appropriate seating available.
Onto the service. I don’t know if the waiter was forgetful or what but he said he’d being a high chair over as soon as one was available. One became available, then another. He gave one to a family that came in after us. After 10 min we went and got the other high chair ourselves. Someone brought our drinks out, and then another person brought our drinks out again five minutes later. After we ate, we sat for an unusually long amount of time without seeing our waiter. When we saw him, we asked for boxes. We asked for boxes again two more times after that. Then we asked for the bill and waited a while for that. Considering it wasn’t busy I just feel that the waitstaff was very inattentive.

I visited last night and the food was pretty good. My friend and I split the sausage pizza and other friends had pasta and a burger. All were enjoyed. I will note me and my 4 friends were the ONLY table all evening from 7:30-9:30pm which is not pointing to anything good. What’s comical is I couldn’t find a reservation online and had to email the manager who took care of it on her end. I had the managers email from a previous morning I had visited for coffee and a pastry and my server was so visibly sick and coughing everywhere that I had to get another pastry from another worker….. she was finally sent home. Yikes! The manager apologized but that was it.

Such a cute breakfast spot in Prospect Heights. Great for young families. The breakfast skillet is super tasty and filling.

No drip decaf so I got a decaf Americano, unfortunately it was super watered down. The Americano was $3.50 and I paid $5. When I went to pay I was asked if I wanted change. Just please give me the change and I will give the tip!
A solid neighborhood spot. The staff are always so friendly, and they don't mind if you hang around for a while! Also - their "bacon, egg and cheese sando" is better than the well-known shop up the street that specializes in bagels. Yes, I said it!

very nice ppl work here! great service.
unfortunately i found the food to be a bit disappointing. it seems the skillet items on the menu rely an enormous amount on the copious helping of cheese in them as opposed to the three other unsalted ingredients.
Dietary restrictions: they take dietary restrictions seriously!

Sad to see the quality here continuously plummet after going here for years. I hope they find a way to stay in business while bringing back quality ingredients, great service, interesting menu items, and good portion sizes for the price. The new concept says it’s a diner but does succeed on any of the fronts a diner should: food, portion sizes, service, price, and vibe.
Solid food. The pizza is akin to Chicago tavern style. Which is very cool. Since not many places on NYC serve that. Proper square cut slices from a round pie.

The Thanksgiving Pre-Fixe Dinner was delicious, the Turkey, salad, sweet potato pie, cranberry sauce & an amazing Pumpkin Cheesecake. The service & friendly atmosphere were wonderful!!! Good drinks as well.
