Nope ??‍♀️wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.I bought small rice and peas with stew chicken. Came with cabbage and plantain for $9.80. I wasted my money. Rice and peas barely had peas, coconut milk was Not part of the ingredients. Chicken very bland only tasted pepper. Cabbage was cooked way too long and the plantain was just ok.

This spot is great for a grab and go. It's a hole in the wall spot, but the food is tasty. I enjoyed the stew peas with rice, plantain and cabbage. My daughter had the patties.

The fish was cold there was barely any cabbage it was onions peppers and carrots, the setup can be more presentable.

Best Jamaican food in the area. I've had the patties, curry chicken, curry goat, oxtail, ackie & saltfish, stew peas, soup, etc. Everything was good. Portions are generous as well.

Got two patties on a quick lunch break. At $2.75 (each) you can’t really beat the price. The filling for both patties were delicious but you could tell they had been under the heat for quite some time because it made the outer texture (crust) a little harder than desirable. My best advice is try to grab your patties at an earlier time to get the best quality product.

They are worried to give you the portion you paid for. Check your food before leaving here.

It's rare that I feel the need to write a review so soon after I have finished a meal, but the j*** chicken I just ate from here absolutely transported me. Juicy and perfect level of spice and salt on a bed of perfectly done rice and peas (with a bit of cabbage and a plantain) for less than $10. Incredibly friendly staff and a quick moving line of regulars ordering patties, curried goat, and simple deserts and coffee. I work nearby, but this is the kind of place I would be so thankful for if I was in a hotel or office in downtown brooklyn and wanted something truly delicious and home style for takeout (or even dine in and get a feel for this unique corner of rapidly gentrifying Brooklyn)
