Well isn’t this just the cutest and most delicious little snack of an establishment. After being a long time fan of Pauline Gees main shop, I decided to give the slice shop a pass and damn, wouldn’t change a thing. Place was packed on a Sunday afternoon. Felt more like the hair of the dog crowd and not the post church crowd. I’m here for it. Sipping on a beer eating za while standing at the back bar - life is good my pizza gods. Thank you.

The staff was extremely rude and didn’t even bother to correct the order. We ordered takeout and the staff made a visibly annoyed face and without saying a word just handed over a box. They also forgot our drink and again, in a rude and annoyed manner told us to go to the bar and get it ourselves. Such a shame that they operate with such horrible service.

We had to wait almost 30 minutes just to get inside to place our order. But, if you’re with good company, it goes by fast. We observed many people left because they didn’t wanna wait in line friend when we ordered, happy to explain different vegan and vegetarian options. There are so many tasty vegan pizzas here with mock meats and, nondairy cheese. Very vegan friendly we had a bit of wait to get our slices heated, but we waited in the back room, which has such a fun old classic Italian American pizzeria, vibe with bolted down tables and chairs, linoleum floor, and a bunch of TVs playing sports lol. The food took maybe 10 to 15 minutes to come out, and they accidentally gave us the wrong soft drink. But it was still delicious. If you’re looking for a quick slice, this is probably not the place but for a fun New York outing at a classic, beloved pizza joint – this is the spot!Vegetarian options: Roughly 50% of the menu is vegan with mock meats and cheeses - but of course there are a few naturally vegetarian options too.

Pizza was just ok but be warned once you walk in you'll be surrounded by customers hordes of neckbearded poodleheads. Place feels like a joint from the Midwest. Service is too slow for a neighborhood slice joint. This area does not feel like NYC. It's like the twilight zone of pointy glasses.

A great Sicilian slice with the generously seasoned seseame crust. Got the Hellboy with hot honey.

Awful service! It took them forever to give us our order which happened basically when I went for a follow up after over 20 minutes wait, and even then they had gotten half of the orders wrong but we didn’t want to wait more so ate the ones we received. We also had ordered to stay (which was even printed on the receipt) and instead they had put the half-wrong items in a box to go, waiting on a shelf gotten almost cold. The funny part is that they had asked two times what would we want to replace for one of our orders as they were sold out of it, and still got it wrong. And all of these considering a decent tip is frankly not something to appreciate. Not gonna go back to this place again

We came here to get a quick bite around 8 and ordered two slices. This place is one of the most inefficiently run pizza shops I’ve ever seen. It was moderately busy for a Saturday night. I stood in a line with maybe 8 groups ahead of me, and took around 20 minutes to get to the front. Fine. But then it took over 30 minutes to get the 2 slices of pizza. If we hadn’t gone up to the counter (twice!), I don’t think we ever would have gotten our pizza. The cherry on top is that the pizza was STONE COLD when we received it. By that time I was sick of having spent an hour there and took it home to heat up and eat.
Being from the UK, we just don't get the same Pizza scene as here in New York (Brooklyn). In fact Pizza is pretty grim unless you venture into Covent Garden. We came here one wet lunchtime last week and ordered a couple of slices. Absolutely impeccable pizza, probably the best I've ever had. Fantastic thin crispy base and superb toppings - honey and peparami, who would of thought!Anyway, please come and open a pizza slice shop in the UK. If you pitched up in some trendy part of London, Bristol or Cambridge (I'm sure there are other worthy locations), you'd be a massive success.Keep up the good work!

Used to love this place, I’ve noticed lately a significant part of the slice surface lacks sauce and cheese.
We all reckon that these were the best slices we had during our whole visit to NY. We had cheese, sausage and a Freddy Prinze, all great.
