I've been going here since the 90s, but either there was a change in ownership or cooks, because the Wor Shu Op (braised boneless duck) was neither braised nor boneless the last time I got it and I was bitterly disappointed, because it's been my go-to dish for 30 years.
Best Chinese food in Brooklyn. Nothing else compares to the quality and service of this place. One bite of my pork fried dumpling and I am instantly transported back to the Sui dynasty. I am surrounded by rice fields, wearing a Raiden style hat and speaking a foreign language. Once I reopen my eyes I am disappointed to see I am back in dirty Brooklyn.
