Didn’t get a chance to eat the food because the service is trash. Went to the front to order food I was told they don’t take card- cash only. Fine. I come back the lady gone from the register. Took a call which sounded like it was a problem no acknowledgment, nothing. Literally took the call walked around on the phone. I waited 10 minutes when she came back to the front she said jerk chicken 30 minutes wait. I was livid. Not so much about the chicken because I could’ve got something else. It was the lack of regard and- there was no thank you for waiting nothing. I know Canarsie don’t have a lot of restaurants but we gotta start holding restaurants who mistreat their customers accountable to make them realize your in business because of your customers… I’ll stick to the Utica location.

I had a very unpleasant experience at the register. I asked if cash was accepted and was told no. I then asked the price of my meal because I only had $15 in cash and needed to grab $3 more from my car.

Instead of a normal response, the cashier waved her hand dismissively and told me to move off the line. When I asked her to repeat herself—because of her heavy accent and because I couldn’t believe how rude she was—she snapped, “If you get off the phone, you could hear me.” I was not speaking to anyone and was simply on hold.

What made this worse is that I witnessed the same rude behavior toward at least two customers ahead of me. Customer service like this is unacceptable in a restaurant. Courtesy costs nothing.

Food is average . When making the jerk pork they need to burn off the hairs on the meat I had to report it yesterday. On uber eats they don't give you the option to order wings alone but on DoorDash they do. The cabbage is bland not fresh , they stop using DoorDash after a certain time but still on uber eats . The alochol drinks taste like bare sugar not much alcohol

Terrible Experience – Still Waiting for My Order

I’ve been standing here for over 1 hour waiting to pick up my order. I can clearly see my order sitting on the counter, but the staff keeps skipping me and handing out other orders first. I’ve tried asking politely, and they just ignore me.

This is absolutely unacceptable. If you can’t respect customers’ time, at least communicate or explain what’s happening. Poor service, zero organization, and no respect for people who are waiting.

I will not be coming back.

I'm an Uber eats delivery courier. This location has not improved in years for delivery pick up. They blast music in the restaurant. It's hard to hear or speak to the staff that is when they acknowledge you exist. I waited over an hour for oxtail rice & peas and cabbage salad, one order. They dealt with in-house customers over delivery even when the orders were packed and ready to go. This location makes delivery couriers wait purposely. I hate all Peppas restaurants In Brooklyn. I avoid these locations like I avoid Bedstuy fish fry. These restaurants are the worse of the worst to pick up orders from at anytime of the day.

I got jerk chicken, jerk pork, Mac and cheese ans rice and peas. The jerk in not really jerk it seem to be oven cooked.

I used to be mad if I ever came to Brooklyn and didn’t stop by here. Lately the food has been absolutely terrible. You need to rehire the old chef - when the rice isn’t too soft, the chicken is dry and burnt. The food is starting to get really nasty. I just ordered lunch here and I am literally going to throw it away.

Ya'll .. this food was SO GOOD. Jerk chicken was spicy, flavorful and the rice & cabbage were perfect. I ate this last-night & I had to come back to write this. Will definitely be back. 10/10

Opens too late in the day. The other peppas open at 11am. Many people show up by 11am.. losing customers

On 08/03/25 I ordered jerk chicken and paid, after a long period of time. I asked the young lady how long, she said 20 minutes. I then ordered a helicopter colada?? My first taste was strange. I thought it was the straw, so I sipped and it tasted the same. I told the lady it tasted spoiled. She refused to change it to something else. She said this is all we have. It was slimy sticking to the sides of cup. There wasn't a tasted of alcohol at all. At home I opened it and it looked like spoiled milk. I discarded it. This stuff is sitting in those cannister day after which is not healthy. I expected her to mix my drink but I got this spoiled liquid that I had to discard. She was very rude and went on and on saying that I drank from it already. She needs customer. service training. Money wasted. I deserve my money returned.

It was the worst experience I had ever had. The food was not what I expected since there were so many high reviews. The food was delivered cold. The driver was waiting at the restaurant for over 20 mins to receive the food. I will not spend another dime there.
