Do NOT EAT HERE... THEIR BACK DOOR SPACE WHERE THEY COOK THE CHICKEN IS INFESTED WITH RATS... THEY BE ALL OVER THE GRILLS AS WELL... The health department should shut this place DOWN! BE AWARE, DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION..

I went there today to grab some quick for lunch I ordered a small jerk chicken and 2 festivals the chicken was definitely undercooked and on top of that I found the longest black hair wrapped around my chicken it’s definitely not mine bc I’m bald and no one in my home has black hair it was definitely very disturbing I doubt I go back for food again and the chicken lacked that jerk flavor

Shop need to update but I guess thats why the food so good. Jerk chicken always on point! Women serving the food need instructions on how to talk to people and leave there emotions and problems home.

Hey! I dropped in one night after some drinks and good times after a successful million-dollar home sale and bam! "Don't judge me" lick my fingers back home. The chicken didn't make it ? service was good but not a ton of smiles just give me the plate. I was fine with that. Atmosphere? - A grab and go take out joint. Leave expectations at the door and enjoy the food.

Highly recommend. When you walk into a place and know the chicken is bouta hit...this is one of those places. Flavor was on point. Great service and the chicken fell off the bone. Mix the spicy jerk sauce and the bbq together for the chicken and you won't be disappointed.

Some days the food is better then others. Sometimes it’s on point and others, the food is undercooked. I ordered from there a few days ago and parts of the chicken was rubbery and chewy just like the consistency of raw undercooked chicken. Also, on a number of occasions I got the festival and it was not cooked in the middle.

This Peppas location has the BEST jerk chicken. The BBQ & jerk sauce is to die for! I always get the rasta pasta, rice & beans with oxtail gravy and jerk chicken. The food is fresh and very tasty. The staff is always changing, but their cool.

Hit or miss. I guess it depends on how the cook/chef feels that day.

You have to be careful with how you're charged. They don't give receipts so the purchase is not itemized. It never seems to match with the menu. I purchased a $13 dollar food, gave $20 and received $5. When I asked what I was charged for the woman made up some story that she thought I was asking for a $17 jerk. That doesn't explain why $2 is missing. It's not the first time either.

I went trick or treating with my friends and family and the women who was handing out candy, handed everyone candy except me. She told me I was too old, but my friend is the same age as me, I also had a mask on. She then proceeded to tell me to take off my mask and I felt that was very inappropriate. A great way to ruin someone’s night.

This place is on Flatbush between Clarkson & Parkside. Not the most prettiest part of Flatbush. Might find a few characters outside this place. This isn't a 5* restaurant, but Peppas is a staple in Flatbush/Caribbean culture of Brooklyn. Great for an after work meal, but NOTHING is better than Peppas for a late night meal after a fete/party or leaving the bar/lounge. It stays open late and the food is scrumptious. Absolutely hits the spot.

Jerk chicken was lacking flavor and the oxtails were the smallest I've ever seen. Will not return.
